DS9 is one of the better ones, I'd say. And Person of Interest.

Doesn't get much better than Blake. 50 minutes of tension, foreboding and doom.

DS9 is one of the better ones, I'd say. And Person of Interest. I can't wait to see both of those. I'm on a full Star Trek marathon atm so it's only a matter of time. And Person of Interest has Michael Emerson. Anything Ben Linus is in has to be decent.

Doesn't get much better than Blake. 50 minutes of tension, foreboding and doom. So great that Paul Darrow basically imitated it when he wrote Avon's supposedly final adventure in Lucifer: Genesis

First caught my attention in a multi-episode guest stint as a serial killer in The Practice in the early 2000s, he was so damn creepy (won an Emmy for it too, I believe). I was delighted when he showed up in Lost! Ben was such an hilariously despicable shit lols But he's great being the eccentric good guy for a change in POI. Really good actor.

Lost was the first proper TV show I watched, it was a childhood favourite of mine. Still holds up better than most too.

Since it's fan revived comeback is kind of picking up steam right now, I'll say the second season finale of Sonic The Hedgehog SATAM is still a pretty powerful one, and that cliffhanger has passed into animation legend. They'll be a million different ways of resolving it, and we have the original writer's notes, but it will remain a mystery

Sonic SATAM took at lot of inspiration from the Archi comics, which had a long and successful run but tanked a long time ago due to legal issues. There's so much red tape around the archie comics and even what Sega will even allow after that that it's very unlikely it will ever return in any offical form.

Well Survival is pretty great.
Falling Sky ending felt rushed but ended ok.
Farscape Peace Keeper Wars was not perfect but still better then I'd hoped for.
War Planets - Shadow Raiders was not given a proper ending but what it did get was still good.

The Tripods finale is pretty good for the most part. The last two minutes are incredibly depressing when you realize the heroes can't defeat the Tripods. The last line "has it all been for nothing?" still gives me chills. Obviously it wasn't supposed to be end and things would have turned out fine in the third series but Michael Grade had other ideas.

I agree Survival is great, but I would have switched that with Fenric in the running order personally. Fenric has more weight to it as a story and the drama is so strong in the final part. It would have been the perfect finale.

Farscape Peace Keeper Wars was not perfect but still better then I'd hoped for. Much like Lost, it gets the emotional core of the show right, but logistically speaking, the show went off the rails in its final season. It would have been the perfect finale. Fenric is the best and most emotionally impactful Seventh Doctor story for sure. But I think the inclusion of the Master gives Survival more of a sense of finality. Remembrance got rid of the Daleks, Silver Nemesis got rid of the Cybermen. Survival completes the trifecta by having the Doctor defeat the Master, plausibly for the last time. That, and the moment where the Doctor is about to ram the skull down on his head ties in neatly with An Unearthly Child.

Agreed, Fenric feels more like the ending of Ace's story, where as the Doctor finally beating his archenemy, but still having more adventures that we won't see is a good send off for the Doctor. As for finale's well I'd also agree with B7 and I'd add Angel to the list too. Also the Young Ones for how hilarious it is. "Phew that was close".
