Eurovision has lost all credibility as a contest. They just handed it to Ukraine because of what is happening there now?
It's made even more disgraceful by the fact that this is the same contest that let Israel host just a few years ago. Absolutely pathetic and disgraceful. Glad I didn't watch.

It has always been political. It doesn't surprise me to be honest. Haven't people got better ways to spend their Saturday than watching that crap?

Isn't Australia also in the contest? I think the mainland European nations have worked out a new way of punishing us for the (admittedly stupid) decision to leave the EU. Instead of making us come last they now let us finish second to whichever country is the most fashionable to support. A shame we couldn't leave Eurovision instead! Are Greece and Cyprus still giving each other maximum points? Truly pathetic too... |

Well compared to when BBC1's Saturday nights consisted of Nu Who, Peter Crouch and Mrs Brown's Boys (truly a triple punishment to rank alongside water torture, being flayed alive and beheaded) it was almost a step up! |
