I can't say I agree with that. The 8th Doctor BBC books were largely unreadable. The NAs went off the boil as they went on but there are some great ones early on. The 8th Doctor ones never did anything for me at all.

The 7th Doctor BBC books were pretty good. Illegal Alien would have been superb on TV.

Well based on what I’ve seen the 7th and especially 8th Doctor books seemed to get caught up in highly convoluted stories, convoluted cannon that made it impossible to pick up and read later book as they are almost impenetrable, heavy attempts to re-write events from in the show (War of the Daleks a prime example) and, as with nuwho, a complete demystifying of the Doctors Past. That a general slipping from mature stories to edge lord writing.
I listened to second Faction Paradox audio drama and while good, f*ck me if it was not hard going at time to understand what the f*ck was going on. I had an easier time understand what was going on with Sutehk and Osirian culture then I did any of the faction paradox stuff.

Mine are:
1. Auton 2: Sentinel 2. Auton 1 3. Shakedown: Return of the Sontarans 4. Auton 3: Awakening 5. Cyberon(CGI enhanced version) 6. Daemos Rising 7. TVMovie 8. Downtime 9. The Stranger 3 - In Memory Alone 10. PROBE 3 - Unnatural Selection
I'd say the 90's although rather thin on the ground material wise, were a darn sight better than NuWho rubbish.
