I quite like Sarah Jessica Parker. In the 90s she was one of the most beautiful women on earth and she's aged incredibly well since. She obviously has a HUGE nose, so it's probably not so suprising I like her haha. The bigger the nose, the bigger the beauty.
She kind of fell off my radar for a while though as she stuck to Sex and the City which not surprisingly I have 0 interest in LOL, but when she was younger she tended to be in a lot of quirky, sci fi adventure, cult movies like Hocus Pocus that was an absolute riot and of course Mars Attacks, and she was my one of my fave genre queens in those films. It's funny to think how her career could have gone down that route, but she ended up hitting the big time and became mainstream. Still at least she wasn't a snob and didn't mind doing weird parts.
That's another part of why I love her. When you think of how vain some actors are in terms of how they look in movies, like that arsehole John Wayne, who always had to be tough, look cool, never be killed etc. SJP in contrast was like "you want me to play a character who is a moron and gets tortured by having their head stitched onto a dog, and runs around with a dogs body, scratching herself for most of the movie, and that image is used to promote it everywhere, so even people who don't see it, see me as a dog woman? Yeah okay no problem," LOL
I think she looked her best in Mars Attacks when she was blonde. (Normally I prefer brunettes as you all know, but actually SJP rocked the blonde look and a huge nose goes well with blonde hair too.
I think it's a shame how badly SJP is treated by comedians and c*nty magazines who always call her ugly. South Park disgraced themselves with the episode they did on SJP. I know that South Park can be absolutely hilarious. At its best it is one of the greatest comedies ever made, and whilst they do have a nasty side, they're not quite as bad as panel show c*nts, in that they are at least brave and do go after untouchable targets. Still unlike the true greats like John Cleese, Rik Mayall, they do have a panel show side to them, and can be lazy c*nts, who just bully people.
There is a world of difference between a comedian being a bully and a satirist. A satirist has well thought out arguments and goes after people for shit they've done, and punches up. A bullying comedian, jumps on whatever lazy bandwagon has come his way, is nasty to someone for something beyond their control, like their looks, or in extreme cases their deaths, and punches down.
Their SJP episode was a prime example. They didn't make any point against her, it was just calling her ugly and a freak and it came at a time when all these c*nty comedians were calling her ugly and Maxim voted her ugliest woman of the year, several years in a row.
The only thing funny about that episode is that her husband, Matthew Broderick is in it, and South Park don't go after him at all. He gets a completely neutral portrayal just to ridicule SJP. BTW Matthew Broderick f*cking killed a woman and her daughter in a car accident and Matt and Trey didn't mention it all! (SJP had nothing to do with the accident he was in btw. She didn't meet him until like 7 years later. I mean you can maybe judge her for being with him at all, but it was an accident tbf and point is, she shouldn't be the one you go for first.) To Matt and Trey, who said they hate her because she parades around like she's hot even thought she is ugly. A woman who they find unattractive thinking she is attractive is more offensive than a rich actor getting away with causing the deaths of innocent people and getting away with it to the point where the victims families said that it was a travesty of justice.
I've often wondered if these guys who get so angry at in their minds, unattractive women who dare to think they are attractive, are maybe a bit insecure? I don't know do they think that they are gay if they don't like these women that other guys like, who are held up as great beauties? I mean I know that sounds silly, but I don't get why these guys get so angry at these women, and the South Park boys are absolutely f*cking terrible for this all around, like when they went after Barbara Streisand for similar reasons.
I guess we can only be attracted to women that super studs Matt and Trey consider to be gorgeous.
Honestly I think for her sake it would have been better if she had just stayed a genre queen. Despite genre fans unfair reputations for being sexists, we are so much better to quirky, weird, offbeat women. She'd never have got called ugly to the same extent by sci fi fandom. f*cking comedians and their fans get away so f*cking much with their vile misogyny. Why are they not called incels, and woman haters, and have characters like Warren Mears based on them. Oh simple, they are the bullies, whilst we are the bullied. Still pisses me off though.
