Winona was smoking throughout the 80s and 90s.

This collection of clips unfortunately does not include the best part, where Kirsty holds out the box in front of her dad and shouts "you want it?!" in a most risque manner

Well Coronation Street is absolute shit these days. It;s funny that it's crap because it is too unrealistic whilst DW is shit because it's too parochial. Soaps and sci fi it seems suffer from self loathing fanboyism, as on the one hand I think a lot of soap writers can't stand the idea they are writing a soap, and shove in stupid explosions and supervillains, whilst sci fi writers think it's childish writing about monsters and aliens, so they crowbarr in "real world" crap. Just let things be what they are! Anyway a highlight has been this babe, Sair Khan who plays Alya. God damn is she beautiful. Her eyes are just so striking, her accent is gorgeous and sexy and whilst she doesn't have the biggest nose, but its very long and very beautiful. She's also really cool too. She was on I'm A Celeb a few years back and she was really nice and cute on it. She's all that and a bag of potato chips. Sadly however she has been involved in two of the stupidest stories in recent months. She has literally survived an explosion and a stabbing in the space of two weeks LMAO. She was also released from hospital a day after being stabbed in the lung. She must possess an adamantium skeleton and a healing factor of some kind. Again save that stuff for sci fi boys.

A quote for the ages honestly, and something I've been tossing around in my head for years. Some of these shows seem to actually detest themselves. Rick and Morty would be a good example.

Glad you liked it. I'm curious though, why do you think Rick and Morty is a good example of a show hating itself? I thought it was a good unashamedly sci fi show. Having said that I saw the co-creator has become embroiled in some nasty shit recently. Obviously innocent until proven guilty, but to be fair there does seem to be a lot of other iffy things about him.

It just seems to have gone through the classic combination of self-consciousness, self-seriousness and self-loathing. It got way too big way fast, and it started to crumble into the good old strange dichotomy of both hating the fans and pandering to them.

I like Brigitte Helm from Metropolis at the moment. She's very good as the lovely Maria and also the evil robot version she plays. I really need to see the full, reconstructed version because my only exposure to the film is Moroder's 1984 edit which, while good, leaves out more than an hour of storytelling.

Kathryn Drysdale. She is a comedy actress who I stumbled upon in the Windsors (which is still one of the funniest tv shows around, and I am so happy to see its coming back.)
She plays Meghan Markle and is absolutely hysterical in the role. I love the way she plays Meghan as an annoying, preachy, but innocent Disney Princess in contrast to Pippa who is an evil scheming bitch LOL.
Here they are together.
I've been lucky enough to speak to both Pippa and Meghan's actresses on Insta and they have both been so sweet and lovely.

I wish Allison Mack wasn't an imprisoned sex cultist now, because she was fabulous on Smallville. Wish Clark Kent had ended up with her rather than Lois (although Erica Durance was excellent too). Apparently they were originally planning it that way, but changed their minds later on.

Two of my biggest all time crushes are Lacey Chabert and Susanna Hoffs (she starred in The Allnighter, so it counts lol).
