That's sad news - she was certainly memorable in Enlightenment - and of course her magnificent heaving bosoms always ensured a standout performance.
I remember her fondly not only for her memorable Nurse Gladys Emmanuel in Open All Hours but also for countless varied roles over the years such as Long Liz in Hammer's Hands of the Ripper.
