Bollocks, sorry to hear mate. At least she's at peace now.

Spent the night in the vet. Sadly we had to make the decision to put our eldest dog down, two days shy of her 15th Birthday. My heart absolutely aches at the moment. Saying goodbye was the most painful experience I've had. My heart goes out to you. We had to do that for our Mastiff cross a few years go. We knew he had cancer for about over half a year, but with medication and treatment his was going strong despite being over 10 years old. Then one day he just went completely down hill and we took him to the vets for the last time. My wife was heart broken, she'd had him from a puppy and while we'd only been dating two years me and him had become best friends from the day we met. I've not cried like that in years.

Aw, that's really upsetting. Sorry to both of you for your loss. It really is a difficult pain. I can't believe it's a week tomorrow since we said goodbye. I am feeling slightly better, but there's still something off about the house because she's not there.

It feels very empty when they're not there anymore. Leave it a bit and get another one, Maxil. It makes you feel better.

She'll be around for a good few years I hope. She's just very quiet lately. It's cruel on dogs because they don't understand why the other dog isn't there. I can't imagine not having a dog in the future. It's true what they say about them being a man's best friend.

We got her ashes back this evening. We've got a shelf with them on as well as things like her lead and favourite toy.

I had a strange dream about a missing Timothy Dalton Bond film called "Madness in the Headlights." It was released by a different studio which explained why nobody had really heard of it. I got excited thinking there was a Dalton Bond film I was unaware of only to wake up and be faced with the horrible reality that he only did two.

Looks like I'm emigrating back to the UK. What brought this on? Both my parents have passed away in the last 19 months or so, my dad around Xmas 2021 and my mum earlier this year. As a result I'm basically stranded in North QLD all on my lonesome, completely isolated. I've still got friends and family back in the UK, so it seems like the only way to go really. And I hate the bloody heat. I am looking forward to being back Maxil, though less so to all the hassle of the next couple of months! I've been working toward it for the last 3 months getting rid of stuff etc but its mid July and I'm like "shit, I've gotta get on with it". Don't fancy being stuck up here at Christmas. So I've signed with the estate agents to sell the house, it's going on the market in the next ten days, and am ringing the moving company to get some boxes today. Have also got a mate looking at a house for me tomorrow in South Yorkshire lol (seen it on the net, looks ideal but he's going to have a squizz for me and take some more photos and videos lol). It's going to be a hassle, and I'm dreading aspects of it, but I don't kbow what else to do. I can't stay here. So it's back to Blighty!

Getting round to building a new DVD shelf. The original I built around 10 years ago when my collection was much smaller and with some of the animations and episodes I've received since then, it's started getting crammed to sod. There's also a boxset or two like Key To Time and a few Reeltime/BBV spinoffs that I'd like to fit on and all.

I have one for CDs, two for books and three for DVDs/Blu rays. I have barely any room left for anything new.

I may have jumped the gun a bit re the move. There's sooooooooooooooo much to get rid of, more than I thought actually. So it's gonna take a while and since I don't fancy being stuck in the British winter with none of my stuff (it takes 9-11 weeks to get there!) I think it will be next year now. But that gives me six months to clear out the garage, the sheds and the cupboards lol

Tesco's frozen curry meals are the absolute worst. Tasteless chicken and barely a handful of rice. Iceland's Indian range is ten times better.
