Hmm... RTD had regeneration energy blow up the TARDIS, Moffat had it destroy a Dalek mothership... What next in the Fitzroy crowd's endless game of petty, adolescent one-upmanship? Maybe the outdoor location will be an entire planet that Jodie blows up and faces no consequences for. You know, after all of her companions and their families show up as hallucinations to listen to her rattle of clichés about being kind for 10+ minutes. At least there'll be no over-the-top Murray Gold bombast this time, thanks to Segun Akinola's innovative compositional approach of bashing random synth keys with his dad's slippers for the duration of each scene.
Whatever happened to the Doctor just lying down, giving us a quick one-liner and dying with dignity? The very idea that less can ever be more seems to be a foreign concept to these people.

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense for a male to be cast as the 14th.
They finally get their chance to dress a guy in female's clothing for, at minimum, half an episode.
I mean, would it not help to further sell the trans-narrative?
