I like his work for the 80s BBC Narnia series. Very atmospheric and nostalgic.

I like his work for the 80s BBC Narnia series. Very atmospheric and nostalgic. Yep- it's also easy to forget that he worked on Life of Brian. Burgon's Who work is outstanding though. It's a shame he wasn't utilised more often. I'd throw Tristram Cary in there too. The score for the original Dalek story is particularly impressive- oppressive, pioneering and intrinsic in encompassing the clinical, oppressive and mechanical veneer of the Daleks themselves. I've already discussed previously how superb the "city" theme is, but it's a contender for the single best piece of music composed for 60s Who.
