Season 17 for me. Lalla Ward, Destiny, COD, Nimon and of course Douglas Adams as script editor. It's funny, sometimes a bit silly but still incredibly entertaining. I look forward to picking this season up on Blu ray.

I think I might go for the Key to Time season. I HATED the ending of it. Douglas Adams really dropped the ball on the last episode, but the others are great fun to watch. Particularly The Androids of Tara.
Having said that though ironically his two best stories come from either season around it. Horror of Fang Rock and City of Death.

I'm very torn here. I would have said 17, but honestly 16 is just as good if not better, even if I do prefer Lalla to (the still excellent) Mary. They're pretty much my two favourite seasons.

15 for me.
"Horror of Fang Rock" being the last classic story of the era.
