Sadly, Chris Achilleos, painter and artist has died, aged 74. His covers for the Target novelization books in the '70s were stunning and iconic and a big part of what attracted me to reading Doctor Who books and indeed, being a Who fan in the first place.  |

Sad to hear - the magnificent art of Achilleos was a key part of the Target novels back in the 70s and in that respect helped define Doctor Who with great style and authority.  |
