My favourite months to watch the classic series are October, November, December and January. It gets dark and cold around this period and I think Who is best enjoyed in the autumn and winter. October is a great month in particular because of Halloween and the fact that most people tend to watch spookier stuff around this time. I've got Ghost Light and Fenric lined up for later in the month while I'm going to kick start my Who marathon off tonight with something from either the Davison or McCoy era.

Absolutely yes - it definitely suited being watched during Autumn/Winter period. For me, that's probably because my fave eras of the show were the ones most influenced by horror themes and those darker evenings were the perfect backdrop for watching that kind of stuff. And lots of great childhood memories viewing the show back in the 1970s in particular.
