She certainly does  Good trailer too - enhanced 6 part Shada and new effects for Nightmare! - so yes am really looking forward to this. |

Too bad this trailer was a prequel to Destiny, rather than something for the season's most famous story (City of Death), it's nice that they enlisted Gooderson to reprise Davros to keep that connective tissue though, I hope McTigh is considered for the RTD2 era.

It's a shame Gooderson wasn't going through a Briggs modulator in the actual f.ucking story.
They didn't show much of "Creature from the Pit" either, did they?
I guess they didn't like that story.

Yay! One of my top 2 favourite seasons ever. Good to see Shada's going to be episodic, not sure why they didn't do that in the first place. The movie version didn't really bother me, as I adore it, but it never made much sense.

All New Who seasons are out on Blu-ray already. This wasn't a new v old dig, just that of the old Who seasons this is a relatively poor one. |

No one is more anti New Who than Genki Monk. He is the most dedicated New Who hater. New Who seasons that are overall great would be 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10.There are stinkers in all of them, but then there are stinkers in many great classic Who seasons. I'd say those seasons are all better than seasons 2, 4 (apart from the two Dalek stories) 11, 17, 18, 20, 23, 24 of classic who. Season 5 of New Who meanwhile for me can rival the likes of seasons 21, 12, 9, 5, and 14 of true who, and is better than seasons 8 and 22 of classic who as well. However seasons 1, and 2 of New Who are weaker than the majority of all Classic Who seasons except for 23 and 24. Even then no story in any of those seasons is as bad as Love and Monsters, New Earth, or Bad Wolf or the Slitheen two parter. Seasons 8, 9, 11, and 12 meanwhile are worse than anything in true who to be honest. (Though out of that lot 8 and 9 have some good stories at least like Into the Dalek, the Robin Hood story, the underwater two parter and the Osgood two parter, so that at least puts them above Jodie.) Top seasons of classic Who meanwhile would probably be Season 1, 3, 6, 7, 10, 13, 16, (apart from the finale, which ironically is true for many New Who seasons.) 25, 26. I'm not sure if season 5 can rival any of those seasons to be honest? What were we talking about again? |
