I still think this is unfair. There was a recent interview with James Marsters that I think was very fair and balanced, where he said John Barrowman was always very nice and generous to everyone, but that sometimes the humor got very stupid and jack the ladish, but was never threatening.
Again I'm not defending that type of humor, but I still say it is an overreaction to ban him for shit that happened 15 years ago. Lots of actors have done similar shit on sets for jokes. Oliver Reed did exactly what John Barrowman did all the time for a laugh.

Well all I’ll say is that nuwho has been entrenched in this crap since it’s inception, via the bbbc and rtd, and it only got worse as it progressed. It was only a matter of time befor that era and the people associated with it got hung by their own idiocy. I’m surprised Cathrine Tate hasn’t gotten in trouble given that the content of her show was similar to Little Briton.
Well it’s the world they wanted and when it comes to bite you in the arse, deserved or not, you’ve only got yourself to blame.

For example he went out of his way to make sure characters like Lee Marvin (no stranger to alcoholism himself) did not get tempted to have a relapse. Apart from maybe on the set of Castaway where he was rumoured to have got his wang out at Amanda Donohoe, but it's not as if those two didn't see each other in the buff during filming anyway! I'm all for actors being crazy off-set, even Nu Who ones, and I understand some of this goes back years, but there isn't really much excuse for some of Barrowman's behaviour - particularly as he carried on doing all this nonsense in America more recently.

Well it’s the world they wanted and when it comes to bite you in the arse, deserved or not, you’ve only got yourself to blame. I can understand that feeling, but even then to be honest it never gets the people you wanted. John Barrowman for instance was never a dick to people about not wanting a female Doctor. Even though he was for it, he said he understood the objection, but hoped it would win people round. To be honest his conduct in this respect was far better than Colin who threw William Hartnell under the bus and stabbed Peter Davison in the back, and insulted his fans. Meanwhile RTD is still getting hired, whilst Barrowman is dropped! Also I think what Claudia Boleyn said was true that why is Barrowman being made out to be a lone predator when absolutely everyone knew about this? David Tennant sings about it in a song in the ballad or Russell and Julie, whilst Liz Sladen joked about it. With this in mind, why is it suddenly being treated like this big secret like Noel Clarke?

There are many stories of Ollie Reed getting his dick out for jokes and giggles. Also in Barrowman's case it was often whilst filming nude scenes too, so if that excuse doesn't work for him it can't for Oliver Reed. Not saying Oliver Reed is a sexual predator either btw. Again I don't like that kind of humour. I think it's stupid and I wouldn't allow it for three seconds, but for me to make out Barrowman is a sexual deviant as many have done, to ban him from any tv appearances, and to retroactively not watch anything with him in it, as many online are doing is utterly absurd.

America doesn't seem to give a f*ck either, which makes it all the more hilarious. Honestly I've given up on society altogether at this point, it's a mental asylum with the lunatics in charge now.
