MrTARDIS whistle-blowing on the problems with secrecy surprises me. He has built this reputation in fandom as an advocate for the programme.

What say you Hivers? Is Trilbee looking  to tap into the "YT insider" market for the hits and the cash clicks, or does he have something legitimate to share with us?

Who knows, he strikes me as the type who will flip flow were ever winds blowing. He stood by Jodie and Chinballs while the BBC did but now with RTD is back and the BBC are outsourcing the show, it seems like the winds are turning more and more against the current era. I mean the extra material seemed to be ignoring her era as we discussed before, and even the most loyal Jodie fan will find it hard to argue that the recent announcements are not a clear sign that her era is a failure and the show is well an truly in the red.

I’m not against people he changing their minds but I have little respect for people who shill something so hard, and treat others opinions with open hostility, then change their mind once it looks better to do so and with no apology for their behaviour.

I took the trouble of looking at his recent posts, I don’t have Twitter, and from what I can see I don’t think he’s turning on Jodie just yet. He talking to private Twitter users, and based on what’s said he stating that Doctor Who is not getting any promotion. There’s no new trailer for the upcoming series and as another posted, they more more about what’s happening next year with other shows then nuwho.

I don’t know what the posts their replying to are saying, though one seemed to be a Jodie fan based on their name and picture, but Mr Tardis and co didn’t sound happy.

I think he’s actually just even more out of the loop then we thought. He’s shilled for this era so hard that he doesn’t realise that the BBC are actually embarrassed of the show now. That’s why they aren’t making any big announcements, hell I bet it’s been development hell since they cancelled Barrowman. He keeps on about use not having the metrics but promotion of season 13 has dropped to bare minimum, if that.

Reminds me of when that power rangers movie came out, it’s supporters were in complete denial about its box office failure, they crept saying it will do better in this county, then that country until there was nothing for them to cling to. That film and what ever franchise was hopped for is clearly dead on arrival.

Welp it's all just about Doctor Who not having any marketing, stuff I could have guessed on my own. Nothing new, nothing ground breaking aside from him actually having something negative to say about nuwho.

I can't be arsed watching the video. What negative things did Mr Sin say about the show? Also someone should tell him it DID have marketing, it's just that all the Jodie toys, books, comics etc tanked badly in 2018 and 19, despite his claims at that point of it being a tremendous, total succcceeeeeessssssss!

Honestly never got that far. Just listened to a enough to know he’s just talking about shit I already worked out for myself, that’s still shilling for the era and even says he supports the BBC is their going along with some cunning plan to not have spoilers for series 13 by Chibnell. Yet for all that he’s moaning about how the lack of promotion and no release date his hurting peoples jobs and himself. Like an abused spouse “they hit me but they didn’t mean it”.

I gave zero fokks about anything after that.

I’ll say again, no company would willingly do what the BBC are doing unless something was very wrong. It could be they don’t want leaks because last timer it really allowed resentment to build before the Timeless Children even aired, in fact I’m shore quite a few fans jumped ship over that before the episode came out. That doesn’t change the fact that the episode and the series was universal hatted to the point long time Omega level DW fans quite the show for good. Not knowing in advance would never have changed that. In a world we’re spoilers are almost impossible to stop, it’s more a sign of fear then faith in what’s coming up. The BBC is hiding stuff in order to soften the blow.

Then you have Barrowman’s cancellation. It’s clear they were hoping to pull old viewers back in with him but know the Twitter mob has turned against the idea, I’ll be shocked if series 13 has not had to undergo a colossal rework, including rewriting, shooting and editing, in order to remove him. It would also explain the lack of marketing as they have had to scrap it all because Jack was so prominent.

It’s clear that BBC would rather talk about anything else then Jodie, Chibnell or Series 13.
