Ok back when this was first coming out I heard people say that Tennant would be travelling to another universe and allying himself with Daleks as part of the pretentious Timelord Victorious story line, however I looked ad the 3rd volume and it's just him titting about during the Dalek-Movellan War. So I looked as the other entries and they sound like he's working alongside the space security from Master Plan. So was all this talk of alternate universes just fluffy worded bullshit from BF and what they really mean is he's just imposing his smug gitnuss on the classic era?

I've only listened to all of the first volume (which is one I recommend, it's got a great fake-out in the opening two-parter) , but the gist is The Tenth Doctor is separated from his TARDIS and somehow travels back to the period of history before the time war broke out, so the Daleks are everywhere, Molloy is Davros etc

I'm developing somthing of an obsession with the Imperial Daleks, if my latest name was not a give away, and was planning to collect BF stories about them as well as stuff that led up to their creation. Dalek Universe 3 takes place during the Dalek-Movellan war, an event that was important in the history of the Imperials because it and it's outcome are what ultimately lead Davros to become disillusioned with his creations and seek to create a new, more perfect breed of dalek. I'll hold out and see what the reviews are like and more importantly why Riversong is there. If she's being to insufferable I won't bother. She, Clara and Missy are some of the worst characters the show ever created and all three are are retroactively imposing themselves on the classic. But I might just avoid vomiting blood if she's not something shit like the creator of the Movellans or something.

Basically, the doctor is teaming up with a decendent of Sara Kingdom, who in an earlier story (with Tom Baker) had her mind altered so she could spy on the Doctor. When the truth comes out and he discovers she works for the Space Security Agency, the doctor dumps her.
She then teams up with a robot called Mark 7. who is a new special kind of android, but who has real feelings. Emotional shit happens, with the usual tropes, such as "You're more than a machine...". Yawnfest.
Meanwhile, the Daleks basically tried to get the cure for a virus from Epsilon. Turns out that they are dying from the virus themselves.
In another story, someone is trying to re-engineer her race into Daleks to fight the Daleks, and to help cure the virus.
It's an utter bore fest, and strangely, the Daleks are hardly in it. I is one of the most boring series BF has ever made. It has no redeeming features.
