Top Gun: Maverick should be good. I'm sad that Charlie won't be in it because they've gone with Jennifer Connolly instead (not a bad actress herself). I still love you, Kelly. Expendables 4, whenever that gets released, should be quite fun if it's anything like the other three. I'm also looking forward to Stallone's superhero movie "Samaritan" which should be interesting. Not a whole lot else I'm afraid.

I'm quite excited for Denis Villeneuve's adaptation of Dune myself. He's nary put a foot wrong before (I've liked all of his previous films), and I'm reading the novel for the first time now and thoroughly enjoying it. Villeneuve criticising the MCU films has made him jump up in my estimations too, though I've not seen the Lynch version of Dune.

With the Rocky IV director's cut coming soon, Stallone has teased a possible director's cut for Rocky III. That's what most people are taking away from this post anyway. I'm not sure Rocky III needs a director's cut to be honest but I wouldn't mind seeing some extra footage. Well all know that Rocky V is the one film that needs a cut of some kind. I know there's a workprint, but I would like a proper cut with the deleted scenes put back in. I love Rocky V as it is, but I honestly think people will like the movie more if they recut the film to make it resemble the original edit instead of the choppy version we got in 1990. http://instagr.am/p/CULvksQJX-8 EDIT: I think the secret is the platform Hulk is standing on. I think I jumped ahead a tad then.

I'll be picking up the Blu of Gunpowder Milkshake next week. Beyond that, I'm struggling to think of anything.
