"Hurrah for the return of the Messiah! All hail Davies!" Which of the attached options are you most looking forward to him bringing back? You can select any THREE options. Discuss, vote! Allons-y!

Definitely the response of RTD's hardcore fans vehemently opposed to the Chibnall era. If they seriously believe this'll mitigate their concerns and alleviate their priorities, they're completely wrong. I also voted for male actors prominently whipping their cocks out, because what indicates a return to integrity and "proper Who" more than that?
Honestly, the hysterical overreaction to this news from NuWho fans is completely misplaced. This'll be shite- void of any new ideas whatsoever and forced to pander shamelessly to a now bygone era.

Shit- I just had a thought. What if RTD's new mantra for "modernisation" is having John Barrowman expose his cock *on screen* this time round?

"Hurrah for the return of the Messiah! All hail Davies!" This is starting to resemble Life of Brian in more ways than one, isn't it? It's why I suspect Davies will have Barrowman expose himself for a split-second, ala Graham Chapman in that particular film (albeit nowhere near as amusingly and without the satire). Doctor Who is turning into a neglected Python-sketch...

RTD's big dramas since leaving the show are 'woke' done proper, so I don't fear what DW'll look like. I dread his finales being let downs though, although the one he wrote for Wizards vs Aliens series two was solid...even if it did just rehash the ending of Parting of the Ways.
I think he'll be keenly aware HIS audience are now fully grown adults and will want to see something different, so he'll adjust accordingly. I don't think he'll forget the children either, and will set up spin-offs that cater to their age range as they did before.
But yes, that sonic is going to get a lot of use again. Hearing people complain about that is much healthier than the bowelstrek/Nederotic crowd about 'the message', though to their credit, those two at the very least are mentally prepared for all this not to check out.

I'm looking forward to people watching realize RTD is/was actually shit, quit watching, and the failure damages RTD's career.
Also, with his return to fame, I hope people start leaking the shit that went down last time this c*nt in charge, and he finally gets cancelled like he should have been from the start.

To be honest I am surprised he is jumping right back into the fray after all the damaging revelations about the behind the scenes crap in his era. Eccelston I can't imagine is too happy. I'm not saying I think there was anything really dodgy, but there clearly was a clique in his era that could get quite nasty, hence why Eccelston left.

"You have clearly never pay attention to my past era"
"The last show i show i wrote had a diverse cast that we're also all LGBTQ+"
Unequivocal proof that Davies literally cannot write. Either conceptually or functionally.
"I'm Russell T. Davies; nothing i write is ever subtle." (lack of punctuation corrected.)
Al last, a glimmer of self-awareness. I'm inclined to agree Russell, it's just a shame it's all entirely lacking in nuance as well, isn't it...?

Great to see you back! This quote I think sums up exactly what we are in for with the RTD era mark 2. The fact that he actually would mention farting aliens as an example of what worked from his era I think should remind everyone of the depths he can sink to.

I wonder if Peter Kay feels neglected that his own contribution to worst Doctor Who alien has been glossed over? Initially I assumed his show with the 'diverse cast that were also all LGBTQ+' was Torchwood? In which case that's not all they were!

I won't be looking forward to anything Fathead brings back because I won't be watching.

The hole just keeps getting deeper. I'd say it's about goatse-sized round about now, or possibly bigger.

As Noel Clarke probably won't be back as Mickey can we nominate someone equally clean to replace him in the role? R Kelly, perhaps?
