Superman IV: The Quest for Peace. I get a warm feeling watching it for some reason. It's just a relaxing 85 minute movie that makes no sense but is fun to watch.
The Cable Guy. It's a dark comedy, but I always like to watch this when I'm feeling low. Anything with Jim Carrey is a lot of fun.
The Neverending Story III. I have such an affection for this despite never growing up with it. It's a lovely fantasy film from the 1990s and one that constantly entertains me.

This one is my very bestest favourite ever film! It was recommended to me by one of my mature male friends on the NAMBLA social chat site. It's GREAT!

Bedazzled (1967 original version) with Peter Cook and Dudley Moore - funny and clever and charming and colourful ( plus Raquel Welch! ). The Italian Job (1969 original version) the iconic heist film. Great soundtrack, too. Nearest and Dearest (1972) Film version of the classic sitcom. Hylda Baker was a comedy genius and this daft film about an ailing Pickling factory is full of her characteristic ( often smutty) malapropisms: "How do I know you're not the Boston Dangler?". I've watched this flick so many times, I know every single line. Countess Dracula (1971) Ingrid Pitt discovers a pretty drastic beauty treatment. Smashing Hammer horror - Brit cinema at it's best. I could go on...
