I think Time and the Rani is the best made story out of all them while Warriors has the strongest script. There are things I enjoy in Time-Flight as well as Timelash. I'm going to go for Time and the Rani just because I've always had an affection for it despite the hatred it gets. It's fun and I like the look of it too.

Dilemma. Colin is hilarious in it.

Have to concur with Ian on this one. As infamous and as crap as it is, Twin Dilemma gets my pick from this selection for Colin Baker’s side-splttingly funny performance alone.
Time-Flight is infinitely worse, to be honest. Probably my least-favourite out of this selection too- dreary, inept, appallingly acted, and somehow immensely padded. At least Warriors is halfway entertaining at times, and the latter two are at least laughably bad.

I vote warriors as I recall rather enjoying it on last watch… years ago. I’m shore I’ll come to regret that choice in rewatch.

Warriors is a lot of fun. It's actually one of my favourite Davison stories. The Sea Devils are awesome.

"Timelash" has Paul Darrow. So...

"Timelash" has Paul Darrow. So... And it features that hilariously incongruous exchange featuring Brunner and the sing-along android, which comes completely out of nowhere: "She was an attractive young woman... (Five seconds blithely pass...) ... "Yes, in-deed, she was..." As poor as Timelash is, it's infinitely more amusing than Time-Flight, which is garish and painful bollocks from the outset.

It's a tricky one, all of them are considered shite but all of them do contain the odd entertaining moment.
I'm tempted to go for "Warriors of the Deep" because it's a masterclass in how to completely hilariously mess up what could've been considered a stone-cold classic, "Time Flight" has quite a good first episode before it gets really, really dull, "Time and the Rani" has quite good visual effects and design but awful acting, "Twin Dillemma" has awful direction and awful acting but an entertaining Doctor/Companion interplay...
I think I'm going to go for "Timelash" too because you just can not beat those singing androids.
"If shes gone down there then she's as good as dead already because there's nothing but Morlocks down there. A shame, because she was not an unattractive young lady"
"YES-IN-DEED-SHE-WAS"
(damn I just seen Marx has beaten me to this observation!)

(damn I just seen Marx has beaten me to this observation!) No worries. It's such a bizarre and abrupt interaction which, despite its bathetic nature, feels apt within the story's trashy veneer. And again, Paul Darrow hamming it up beyond capacity is similar in that sense. It's crap, but it has its unintentional (or intentional?) moments of hilarity. Amusingly, I'd personally say that Underworld and Invasion of Time are worse than all of the stories in this poll, as bad as these are.

Paul Darrow completely hamming it up was jaw droppingly shocking at the time, it was like "OMG, WTF is he doing?" In retrospect it's now actually hugely amusing. Yeah, there are far worse stories than all of these in the poll, as trashy as this lot are, there are still entertaining moments in all of them.

I watched Time and the Rani last night and I still think it holds up. It certainly looks better than anything in the Trial season. Perhaps the amount of extensive location filming helped as well as the new look and decent special effects. Even the story I don't think is really all that bad. It's probably my favourite Pip and Jane script.

I read the novel first so I've got fond memories. And worth researching its production, just for the stories of Paul Darrow going 'rogue' on set!
