Resurrection is the better of the two Saward Dalek scripts even though he seems to dislike it. I particularly enjoy the subplot involving the crew's suicide mission. "Why am I getting so excited? This will be the last thing I ever do," is actually quite haunting. I do appreciate the dark humour as well.
Mercer: Here's the self destruct chamber

Resurrection sucks donkeys balls in Hell. I'm well awaire of your hate for it, I really enjoyed your video on it. I went in to it this time full expecting to hate it, but strangely, as messy as the story is a times, I really ended up enjoying it. I think the worst part of it is actually the title. It's pretty much the exact oppasite of the narrative being presented in the story. Decay of the Daleks would have been more thematically fitting. |
