I for one refuse to believe that the press would ever invade someone's privacy, least of all a woman's. It's probably just filming a scene. I'm not saying she isn't leaving, but even if she is I doubt she'd be weeping on set. She'd have dealt with it by now. Also lets be honest, why would you be upset to no longer be working with a twat like Chris Chibnall.

Alas, I've now went from 'shipping Thirteen and Bradley to 'shipping Thirteen and Bishop because of these stills.
I need an intervention

Maybe it's finally sunk in that she's played a part in the destruction of one of the most beloved sci fi shows ever and that the stigma of this is going to haunt her for quite a few years.... I wish.

LOL in all fairness I think we have actually despite the odd bit of hilarious hyperbole, been quite fair and measured to Jodie on this forum and its past iterations. She is bad, but we do always put it in context. Also unlike a lot of cowards on sites like Anoraks, I and others here do not just lazily pin the blame on "Jodie's a shit actress that's why it is bad." We point out the REAL cause of why the 13th Doctors era is such a shit show. IE crappy, shallow, political posturing in place of a story, the basic idea of a female Doctor being a stupid, jarring idea that wrecks regeneration by turning it into a clumsy, ill fitting and offensive metaphor for a sex change operation, and the obsession with rewriting the past rather than in coming up with NEW ideas and monsters. However sadly most of the fandom either won't say that out of fear of being called a sexist and because they've adopted the mantra "it's all about change" as a religion, or worse they've gone too far down the other way and accused DW of becoming a Commie show like the youtubers. Either way Jodie is made into the scape goat because it's easy, cowardly and lazy. Ultimately this shows problems run so much deeper than an inept actress who pulls Arnold Rimmer expressions to be eccentric. These idiots cheering at her being gone are going to be in for a nasty surprise when NOTHING changes after she leaves. (PS am I the only one who thinks Jo Martin was a shitter Doctor than Jodie? I resent her being included in line ups even more than Pisstaker.)

Yea I think once this is all over Jodie’s going to get the reverse Colin treatment, she one defended for a while till society looses intreast in the sjw stuff and then she’s going to start heading to the bottom of every DW poll. She is not the sole problem it’s true but you know what people are like, Jodie was the face of this era, so it’s likely the punch’s will go her way early one once it starts. Ol Chinballs though, we’ll his name will be mud for a long time to come. Maybe this was some heat will finally come off of JNT, who I think really was not as bad as he’s made out to be. Oh he made bad choices but boy the man did get Doctor Who in spite of that.

Your last sentence befuddles me there, Elephant. Oh dear. Yeah that’s my dislexia and dispraxia for you. As you might notice I mess up a bit most of the time but the second I start rushing I f*ck up royally especially with productive text.

John: "Jodie...come here. I need to tell you something and...it won't be easy but....i'm taking over your role next year." Jodie: "yeeerrrr whaaa?" John: "Shhh....shhhh...come here. No more tears." Mandeep: "Does that mean-" John: "Yes...yes, they're f*cking you off too, dear." Jodie: "Well, we had a good run" John: "You did. Best of all? It will be written out of canon when I take over because of how shite it was." John: "did that bitch just flip me off?!"

Perfect! PS how awful does Jodie's costume look? She looks stupid wearing that. It's actually on a par with Colin Baker as the worst costume. Again though we have the soft bigotry of low expectations, because she's the female Doctor people won't comment on how terrible her costume is like Colin's.

It's actually on a par with Colin Baker as the worst costume. Colin Baker's is better by default. It looks like the sort of costume the character would actually wear by design, in that it's appropriately aristocratic and out of time, even if it is over the top. Whittaker's costume doesn't resemble anything of the sort whatsoever. It's prosaic *and* embarrassing at the same time.

JNT thought it would highlight the Doctors alien qualities by having him dress in an ugly costume, pointing out that "hey an alien might have a different dress sense to us." A cool idea in theory, but ultimately not one that would work out in practice. At least not in a live action series. With Jodie however, what the f*ck where they trying to go for?

Actually, Jodie's outfit does have one thing in common with Capaldi's: it looks incomplete.
I remember looking at Peter's outfit in his first series and thinking, "surely, he's going to wear a bolo tie with that or something, maybe a cravat?"
Then, impossibly, they go even more minimal and ill-defined by giving him a hoodie!
Then, Jodie's just looks like a first draft from a look book by combining several unrelated elements of various outfits to see which individual piece stands out the most.
This is coming from the person who wasn't offended by Eccleston's outfit, by the way.
