Alicia Silverstone's Batgirl. Kickass babe with arguably the most perfect 90s hair ever. She was fat shamed at the time but I thought she looked absolutely fantastic in the film. The best shot in the film:

Supergirl is pretty cool. Slater's version, of course.

It has to be Xena the Warrior Princess. For me she is as good a character as Batman and the Doctor from the classic era. Like them she has an amazing rogues gallery, and can star in a wide range of stories. Comedy, drama, horror, fantasy, and the shows somewhat surreal setting where numerous different historical periods exist at the same time, and all the myths are true mean that you can draw from a wide range of historical and mythological figures for her to encounter. She's obvs not quite on the Doctor and Batman's level yet, because they both have so much longer and richer histories and larger rogues galleries, but I think with some proper remakes she could be. There are so many ways you could remake Xena. You could do a gritty version that tries to be historically accurate, and is more down to earth, you could do a version that is more about the fantasy, a light hearted silly version, just like Adam West. She's a gold mine waiting to be exploited, which is why it's so annoying that instead of going back to her we are getting awkward, crappy feminized versions of male characters like Jodie. Gina Carano would have made the most awesome version of Xena after Lucy Lawless herself. Sadly however that probably won't happen now. Just goes to show you why the SJWs are poison to the genre. Thanks to them, Gina can't play Xena. That casting according to Mr Tardis and the GB wankers is a big NO NO. But Jodie HAS to play William Hartnell. Makes total sense. Among my other favourite female heroes meanwhile would obviously include Buffy, Ellen Ripley, The Huntress (the Helena Wayne version.) The Charmed Ones, She Hulk, (as big an arse as he is, Dan Slott's run on She Hulk was amazing.) Kelly Maxwell from Ash vs Evil Dead, Nikita (the Maggie Q version, not seen the others.) The Bride With White Hair and special mention to The Heroic Trio. The Heroic Trio are sadly obscure in the west, but they were among the most unique and crazy group of female heroes. Also their theme was kickass too. I'll be honest here and say that I never thought Wonder Woman was up to much. Her back story is rooted in stupid gender wars crap, she has a terrible, bland generic rogues gallery, she's far too powerful, yet unlike Superman doesn't have a weakness you can exploit, making it difficult to use her. She also has no real concrete identity either. Over the decades she's changed far too much. Okay Batman and Superman have also changed too, but they have always retained a basic persona, IE Batman is a broody, sad guy fighting crime because his parents died, where as Wonder Woman has been everything from a cute bubbly, naive woman like Gal Gadot, to an obnoxious spoiled brat like the Justice League cartoons, to a dark, brooding Batmanesque hero in other versions. Her politics have also ranged from an advocate for equality to a female supremacist, to a straw feminist caricature, whilst even her powers have jumped about. At one she was an Emma Peel expy! To me Wonder Woman is a crap hero, though I did like the first Wonder Woman film with Gal Gadot. Other than that, I say the feminists should get behind Xena as the big iconic female superhero rather than Wonder Woman. I only like Wonder Woman as a part of the Justice League to be honest.
