Which missing Troughton stories are technically left after Evil and Snowmen, beyond Wheel in Space? I know that they're more skeptical about the historicals so I suppose The Highlanders is only a possibility, and I gather that they won't be arsed with The Space Pirates unless they absolutely plan on animating the whole lot. I hope they chose to animate some of the Hartnell historicals after Galaxy 4 as well, even if it is difficult to do. Some of them are definitely worth it (Marco Polo, The Massacre), alongside other renowned stories like Daleks' Masterplan which will undoubtedly be animated eventually, if over a longer period of time.

There's Underwater Menace. I don't think anyone was too pleased by the recon version... It's good that they're cracking into Bill at last, though!

Not the best tale, but a reasonably fun little interlude. I hope they include an animated Mission to the Unknown on it too.
This at least just gets us closer to the big one. An animated Daleks Master Plan!

I found Galaxy 4 to be a below average story but there are worse one's to pick. Personal I want them all animated eventually as it just easier to watch a story in that format then static stills.

Looking forward to this. I'm quite fond of Galaxy 4 - not my favourite Hartnell tale, but still a good choice for the animation treatment. However, I really hope the animation style is an improvement on the rather poor Fury From The Deep cartoon effort. If not, I'd rather they didn't bother and I'll be happy to stick to the Recon version of G4.

Same with the Macra Terror, though to be honest Macra Terror was a a bit crap as a story. I do hope all of this leads to a Doctor Who Animated Series eventually.

I thoroughly enjoyed both of them. I was disappointed by Faceless, a rather dull story that the rather flat animation failed to particularly enliven.

I actually enjoyed all three quite a lot, if only for the sake of having something on screen to follow.
Macra Terror is actually my faviort of the three, as a I found its over all plot very good and atmospheric. Ben's betray of the group adds a good dynamic to it to. It also won me over on the idea that the animations could make changes as long as the true story remained intact.
The Faceless Once was a bit of a slog but I think that its more to do with the story. It's just an episode or two longer then needed, though in hind sight it may have been better in it's original broadcasted format of one episode a week. The animation pretty much has nothing to do here beside follow the plot beats.
The Fury from the Deep was great, though I will admit that there were parts that suffered due to the limited budget.
That all said I really don't mind the animation. Yes its cheap but it dose have it's simplistic charm.
