"Never watched porn" Don't they say that 99% of people watch Porn and the other 1% are liars? Or was that playing with yourself? LOL I don't have any reason to lie. I post plenty of pictures of babes I like here like Ingrid Oliver and Alison King. Porn isn't much of a step up from that. Just never really had the opportunity to get into it when I was a teenager I guess. I didn't get pocket money so I couldn't buy it, and I don't even think there were any porno stores in my neighbourhood, I shared a room with my siblings. Where was I going to watch it? Nowadays thanks to the internet I'd imagine every teenager became a porn addict. I do think though that there should be no stigma against porn or sex workers for that matter. Again LOL not that I have any interest in sex workers, but history has shown time and time again, the more you try and suppress sexuality, the more depraved and insane it becomes. Also I feel that sex workers much like addicts fall victim to criminals thanks to it being illegal. I'm not saying legalise all drugs btw, but definitely marujana. |

When celebrities try and make out that their critics are just trolls. The latest example, Jameela Jamil who has had a habit of making awful, ill informed, Misandrist comments online recently said she was leaving twitter now that Elon Musk is in charge. Now I am no fan of Musk. He is a total wanker and a parasite, but this is a platform, that the gay stoning, woman beating, honour killing, Islamo fascist Saudi Arabia have had a share in for the last ten years. To say nothing of that slug Nick Clegg, a man who was complicit in the destruction of Libya and who is a genuine threat to free speech having an influence over it too. If anything Musk is positively likable compared to those two. Yet she decided to quit it on moral grounds over Elon Musk having it and made a big song and dance over it too. Naturally she got a lot of shit over that, and her response rather than either letting it blow over, or acknowledging that twitter has never been owned by decent people, was to make out that all of her critics were just white men who wanted to kill her. I said this and then left, after Elon bought Twitter, and some angry white men are seemingly quite upset. They keep talking about how I don’t want free speech. That I’m a dumb bitch (partially true tbf) and some just told me how they want to kill me- standard. I don’t want a freedom of hate speech because it is detrimental to the freedom of speech of the oppressed as they face such horrific and scary real life consequences for objecting to their oppression. This is a move towards (esp straight male) white entitlement. Nobody else is safe there if they do not think the already HORRIFYING vitriol on that app is enough “freedom.” It’s about to become The Purge and some sort of crypto bro fever dream I fear. Why bother when I could just be happy and play with Barold and eat cake ya know?

In short: YAY MORE TIME THINKING ABOUT BAROLD! wahey Barold!I don't doubt she will have had some genuinely nasty comments, but to make out that was what the majority of people were saying to her, and not addressing the actual, valid criticism of her public statements is ridiculous. It's just too easy an excuse to hide behind and worse it undermines people who have genuinely been bullied online's claims like Katie Waissel. She's such a bore. I'm sure she won't be missed it surprises me she has any followers at all. I've actually changed my mind a bit about Jameela Jamil. Believe it or not in most interviews she comes over as very likable, funny, charming and smart. She also handled the She Hulk criticism brilliantly, compared with the others involved in the show. I also rather like her as an actress. Watched her in The Good Place and I soon recognized her voice as Roxie in Camp Cretaceous (her accent is awesome btw and I can't recommend that show enough.) I still think my previous criticism of her was valid however. I think Jameela is a classic example of someone who should not be on social media. I think it brings out the worst in her, not in a nasty way, but in that I think she gets very insecure and tends to exaggerate things both to make herself more sympathetic and more heroic, out of fear people won't like her. She has definitely told some ridiculous lies about her past. If she was just herself however that would be enough I'm sure for most people, me included. Incidentally another of my fave actresses Stephanie Beatriz was in Camp Cretaceous. I didn't recognise her voice at first. I must say I admire the makers of the show for casting two such well known actresses (especially in the geeksphere.) In two roles that were completely unlike what they are known for. Stephanie who is best known for playing a sexy, badass cop with a deep voice, and stripped down look here is a superficially, girly, manipulative, sociopathic bitch, who was anything but an action girl. (SPOILERS she leaves her husband to die in such a cowardly, weasely way it would make Anck Su Namun look noble and brave LOL.) Jameela meanwhile who normally plays more superficially girly, glamerous, though somewhat dubious, if not villainous characters, played a tough as nails, noble hero, with a more stripped down appearance who would do anything to rescue the children. |

This is why I can't connect with NuWho fans, man. People like that are in for a shock as I’ve noticed a growing community of people who critic early nuwho for how it looks. Hell there are now those who find Tennent’s era to formulaic thanks to its short time span of each episodes. I’ve also met younger fans who respect the effort that went into Classic Who and that the fact it’s all real help it hold its own better then cheap cgi. |

I normally couldn't give a shit about the Royals, but dear god the vitriol we've seen at Meghan is hilarious and sad as it shows how stupid people are that they can get this worked up over someone like Meghan who has no impact on their lives whatsoever. Here is the interview with Jameela Jamil that helped me change my mind about her. Regardless of how silly she can be on social media, I have to say Henry Cavill is the only other person I've seen stand up for the fans like this. When you compare it to Jodie and other new who actors you can see quite a huge difference.
Mind you Jameela couldn't have said DW fans passion made it what it was. it's the opposite, their self loathing destroyed it.
