1. Mindwarp 2. The Mutants 3. Death To The Daleks 4. Delta And The Bannerman 5. The Leisure Hive Mindwarp is truly gash. Yeah, Delta and the Bannerman is shite, isn't it? Delta and the Bannermen is pretty good, though

Delta and the Bannermen is pretty good, though Mindwarp is an good concept on paper (as with Invasion Of Time, the idea of the Doctor suddenly going mental and turning evil is an interesting story idea with the right ambiguities ) it's just let down by panto acting, BRIAN FOKKIN BLESSED, awful direction and music.

5) The Gunfighters - just not my cup of tea but has it’s good moments though.
4) Delta and the Bannermen - the only McCoy era story I don’t like. Again has its good moments but really not that fun of a watch.
3) Galaxy 4 - just bloody boring.
2) The Space Pirates - long, boring and I’m shore I fell asleep not once but twice
1) The Underwater Menace - boring and bloody stupid.

Death To The Daleks always comes up... but was it really THAT bad? I liked the adventure thru the city (yes, including that weird cliffhanger) and Sarah was at her sweetest and most vulnerable. And the Tardis 'dying' at the start was very well-played.

I think it's the music that really kills it and makes it unbearable to watch. I'd like to see an "optional music score" on it over fx just to see how much difference a non-earbleeding score would make.
5 worst (of classic I assume): Mindwarp TATR The Time Monster The Mutants Underworld

The idea that it could be the worst even in that season which includes Planet of the Spiders, and Invasion of the Dinosaurs is ridiculous IMO. Meanwhile the worst for me would be. 1/ Time and the Rani. 2/ Twin Dilemma 3/ Paradise Towers 4/ The Gunfighters 5/ Warriors of the Deep

1)The Celestial Toymaker 2)The Smugglers 3)The Underwater Menace 4)The Monster Of Peladon 5)Timelash Two out of five of my list are Hartnell stories - yet the First Doctor is probably my favourite - strange! BTW, if we're talking about 'Death To The Daleks', then count me in as a fan - it's smashing ( especially Carey Blyton's mad music)!

It isn't as bad as people say it is. Death to the Daleks is absolutely ghastly in my opinion. The music is horrific, sorry to say. His score for Revenge of the Cybermen is terrible too.

Each to their own,Sir. I have funny taste in music - no surprise I like Carey's odd scores (I even own a CD of Carey compositions: 'Sherlock Holmes Meets Doctor Who'😉). I always try to find something to like in every Classic Who serial and 'Timelash' isn't a total write-off. I love the idea of HGW travelling with the Doctor (the Wells influence is finally acknowledged, even if Timelash's Herbert wasn't really anything like the actual Wells himself). Paul Darrow is fantastic in everything he appears in and it's great to see him playing against Colin. 😊

Incidentally, this story has contributed a great deal to what many consider the worst thing Nick Briggs has done this year, "The Dalek Protocall"
