After Star Trek Picard revealed that Starfleet had stored Kirk's corpse following the events of Generations, it seems the franchise has finally brought him back. Also featured is Robin Curtis as Saavik, from Star Trek III and IV.

Before anyone asks, yes it is actually him. He's deaged, but it's Shatner giving the physical performance and facial expressions
EDIT: I was mistaken, it's Sam Witwer playing him, although Shatner was involved with the project as an executive producer (along with Nimoy's wife) and had creative input for Witwer's performance.
