Here it is. I'll be honest I'm not too happy with how this one came out. That's not because of Sophie who did an excellent job, or even the story which ironically I think was one of my better ones. It's more that this Hylexan adventure was difficult to illustrate. The monsters were so specific as were the sets that I couldn't get drawings that matched them.
It costs a lot to get an artist to do just one picture never mind dozens to cover the different set pieces and creatures, and I have to be sparing with my cash for the actors and the covers. Meanwhile AI is so f*cking limited. It can just about work for jungles, cities, or vague monsters like a Dinosaur, or even a Dalek that is well known, (also you can use actual pictures for the Daleks and the TARDIS too) but for this? Like I said the descriptions of the monsters are too detailed to use existing pictures of other things and the AI couldn't replicate any of them. (For some reason AI is really f*cking poor when it comes to Octopoid monsters as well, which these bad guys were.)
So I just decided to set it to one picture, the cover. I'll probably years later if I have more money get an artist to properly illustrate it and upload Sophie's sound track over that version instead. Still for now at least after the delay the story is finally finished.
