Sun Makers for me. Good mix of drama and humour, great script from Holmes. Leela on form. Great guest stars.

I really love Ribos Operation, so I pick that. Although the Sun Makers is excellent as well.

Not really keen on either of them, both sub-par Holmes stories.
Sunmakers inches it however because at least Tom Baker is still properly dressing himself and hasn't completely given up acting as the character rather than as himself.
Ribos is awful. I remember being bored to tears watching it as a kid.

Both classics, but Ribos has to win out I'm afraid. The production values are far superior for one thing, and it's got a fabulous wintery atmosphere that makes it ideal Xmas fare.

Both great stories. I think Sun Makers slightly edges it for me.

Ooh, now we're talking! The Sun Makers vs The Ribos Operation, huh?
Two underrated gems from the Graham Williams era. The Sun Makers with its biting satire and memorable villains...and The Ribos Operation kicking off the Key to Time season with style.
If I had to choose, I'd probably go with The Ribos Operation. I just love the worldbuilding, the characters, the sense of adventure. Plus, it's got Garron, and who doesn't love a charming rogue? But The Sun Makers is brilliant too.
