Welcome back, my loyal followers, to another thrilling installment of Kimbergoth's Cutting Critiques! Today, we're diving headfirst into the cesspool of stupidity known as "Space Babies". Brace yourselves, because things are about to get real messy. As always, I'll be pulling no punches and taking no prisoners. If you're easily offended or have a soft spot for this particular turd of an episode, you might want to click away now. But if you're ready for some scathing truth bombs and savage burns, stick around. It's gonna be a wild ride! From the ridiculous premise to the insultingly dumb "science", nothing is safe from my razor-sharp wit. So buckle up, my friends, because Kimbergoth is about to unleash hell on "Space Babies"! Let's dive in, shall we?
Alright, let's get this shitshow started. "Space Babies", the first episode of Ncuti Gatwa's debut season, and boy, what a way to kick things off. I mean, really? After the lukewarm reception of "The Church on Ruby Road" and its godawful goblin song, you'd think they'd try to redeem themselves. But nope, they doubled down on the stupidity with this steaming pile of crap. Where do I even begin?
The plot, or lack thereof, revolves around - you guessed it - babies in space. Because apparently, that's the height of creativity these days. And don't even get me started on the "science" behind it all. Powering a spaceship with baby farts and poop? I'm sorry, but that's just f*cking ridiculous. It's like the writers said, "f*ck logic, let's just throw whatever stupid idea comes to mind and call it 'science for thickos'."
Well, congrats, you've successfully insulted the intelligence of your entire audience. And poor Ncuti Gatwa, stuck delivering lines that even a kindergartener would find embarrassing. What a waste of talent. But hey, at least the episode provided plenty of fodder for memes and jokes, right? "The Doctor saves the day with the power of farts and poo!" snorts of a Classic.
In conclusion, "Space Babies" is a shining example of everything wrong with modern Doctor Who. It's lazy, unimaginative, and downright insulting to the fans.
If this is what we have to look forward to for the rest of the season, I think I'll pass. Rant over. drops mic
