As a fan of b-movies I've seen Sarah Douglas pop up in quite a few films now, almost always as a villain. The latest was Return of Swamp Thing, a ridiculously fun campy sci fi movie. She always gives it her all and Jesus Christ is she gorgeous. Nothing sexier than a great villain actress.

Incidentally she'd have made a fantastic Jadis as well. (Jadis is the peak role for villain actresses in my opinion.)

She's the American Jacqueline Pearce I thought EXACTLY that, though as Maxil points out she's actually English she can just do a good accent LOL.

I've always loved Sarah. It was her that made me realize that short haired women are just as sexy as long haired babes.

This thread has inspired me to have a watch of the first two Reeve Superman movies again. Not seen them in a while.
Incidentally I'd recommend Return of Swamp Thing. It's actually a bit more of a complex role for Sarah. She's not a good person at all, but there is a bit more moral ambiguity.
It's great campy fun, and I also read that the main soldier guy in it is the brother of another one of my favourites, Katey Sagal. He was funny in the film, but in this case I'm sorry I prefer his sister.

Watched them both back. Overall they hold up brilliantly. I still think that the second one is better. Sarah is the stand out among the villains to be honest, even more than Terrance Stamp.
