My hope is that he stays far, far away from it all because he sucks too.

He wasn't particularly good when he appeared last year. They only wheeled him out for the 60th specials to get people to watch them.

That's the point, isn't it? To get people to watch them. If it takes Tennant, then bring back Tennant.

The Tenth Doctor's appearance in this video- in which the Fourth Doctor donkey-kicks him into his TARDIS after finding him to be a "gibbering, jabbering" arse- is markedly more entertaining than any of Tennant's TV appearances.

Sorry Rushy that let's do anything for ratings, based on an outdated view of what was popular in the 00s will be popular now 20 years on, is part of what got us into this shit. Also getting people watching via a novelty is no real accomplishment if there is nothing underneath. We could have Freema Agyeman take her kit off and it would get lots of people watching, but unless it had a proper story, what's the point. (I'm not saying I would force her to LOL,that's just a hypothetical. I'm not the makers of Deadpool don't worry.)

I've said this before, but the Sea Devils are simply not interesting enough for an entire series. I'm sorry, but they're not. The War Between is only one episode shorter than the entire inaugural Sea Devils serial, and one episode more than Warriors of the Deep

If we're talking 45-50 minutes each then the series would have almost double the content of The Sea Devils.

Tennant needs to move on from Doctor Who more than BBC do.
Once they actually part company for good, then the show will take its much deserved death-nell, hiatus, and (hopefully) will return reinspired.

He was actually really good, and a brilliant role model for little boys back then. (They type we don't see nowadays.) However the show needs to get out of its obsession with its heyday in the 00s. At this stage it's like f*cking Al Bundy still wearing his Polk High football shirt and boasting about 4 touchdowns in a single game. If Tennant keeps coming back as new regenerations then that's what he will start to look like too. I will say though one funny thing about spin off material is that apparently an audio recently confirmed that 14 didn't become Ncuti. He at some point regenerates into a young Tom Baker, becoming the Curator, so yes Ncuti is just a clone/offshoot from the real Doctor, meaning this is a spin off.
