To be fair, that first one there was a Betty White dirty joke. I saw someone use it in a serious way though in a drama in what was supposed to be an empowering moment.

Where are Barbara and Jenny when you need them? I agree that it's very silly. It isn't an insult against wheelchair users, but rather RTD. I don't think NuWho is doing as good a job at representation as it thinks it is. This has "works better with the Benny Hill theme" written all over it.

Said it before and say it again, this hilarious song from David Brent that's designed to unite us in divisive times is EXACTLY how Steven Moffat, RTD and Chris Chibnall look whenever they try and represent minorities in a away that shows off their credentials as forward thinking 21st century men, rather than just writing a character like Martha.

I can't be bothered to explain to NuWho fans why "Doctor Who has always been woke" is wrong. I don't use the word "woke," but I know what people mean when they say it. Like others I just prefer political correctness or faux pandering. NuWho fans think the show preaching pronouns is apparently the same as depicting a fascist race in "The Daleks." The latter is a reaction to a real life terror which unchallenged could lead to disaster. I'm happy to call anyone what they want, but don't pretend they share the same level of importance.

I know it's no good for diversity, but there is no way the Doctor can't just cure these people. If Jamie was in a wheelchair, he'd be up and running by the end of the episode
