I read several spoilers about Season 2 ranging from Ruby's boyfriend (who I believe was mentioned on here before) to that Koquillion type character which Zarius posted. I also read this about the finale:
"Set in an alternate present where the UK is a fascist state with heavy 1984 influences. Everyone is playing a different version of themselves; the Doctor is a businessman called Mr. Smith, Shirley is homeless (as are apparently all people with disabilities) and Ruby's boyfriend is propaganda figure for the State."
This could all be rubbish, but it sort of sounds like something Russell would actually write.

Russell is obsessed with alternate fascist UK. First it was Turn Left, then Years and Years, now this.
V for Vendetta must be his favourite movie.

Episode four is supposed to be Doctor-lite again. Something about "alien truthers" and UNIT arresting someone in a fake costume (the Koquillion-like character rumour again).
Take with a pinch of salt but this all reeks of Disney era Who to me so it might be true. I find it funny that Ncuti might be absent from yet another episode. Probably should have checked his schedule before casting him, Russell.

I think it was here that someone said that Ruby's boyfriend would discover he was actually gay because of the Doctor. Again, RTD all over. What was all that rubbish about Ruby being bisexual? Literally nothing in Season One hinted at this, only that Carla was into women.

Why do male writers get more thirsty when they reach later middle age? Moffat, RTD, Bruce Timm? Mind you I think these guys were always thirsty, it's just that by the time they reach middle age they can get away with it due to their reputations being built up over the years.

It's his fantasy probably. A guy leaving a woman because he loves another guy, the guy being a version of Russell himself. In absolute fairness, I often have fantasies about straight women being swayed by other chicks so I can hardly say anything on the matter.

There's one of Ruby and two wheelchair users fleeing from someone. There also seems to be propaganda type boards behind them but I can't quite make them out. I'll post the pictures I've found tomorrow when I'm on my laptop.

Don't forget there were elements of that n the Cyber two parter too. I thought that one in particular was a strong depiction of a "sick" world. It's the perfect place for the Cybermen to thrive if you think about it.

lol I'm sorry but a chase with two people in wheelchairs is rather unintentionally comical.

lol I'm sorry but a chase with two people in wheelchairs is rather unintentionally comical. 100 percent. That's what these woke idiots always do though. In their efforts to outdo each other and show how progressive they are, they end up making their minorities look comical. From having a woman go on about how her vagina makes her stronger than a man because it can take a pounding unlike balls that are sensitive, to a black girl getting angry at a white girl who was beaten by her dad getting sympathy, because that sympathy means people might feel sorry for the white girl more than the black one for the greater hardships being black apparently always bring, to wheelchair users having guns in them and running at top speed, to the gay Doctor having to mince, cry and pick up party boys unlike the hetero, professorial Doctor LOL. People hate the woke brigade because of the appalling way they write for minorities ironically in a lot of cases.

To be fair, that first one there was a Betty White dirty joke.
