GO
for my first post I'm going to say
Gorgonopsid vs Future Predator.
Classic fight and I love the way the old, outdated creature actually wins! Brilliant subversion of the cliche in most giant monster films and tv shows.

Chomposaurus loses an eye or something though, doesn't he?
Shame, I like Chomposaurus. He looks like Goofy.

Chomposaurus loses an eye or something though, doesn't he? Shame, I like Chomposaurus. He looks like Goofy. He does but at the same time he also eats the Future Predators babies right in front of him. Also Chompasaurus isn't a Dinosaur. He is a synapsid. A giant race of reptiles that ruled the earth before the Dinosaurs. The Synapsids were wiped out in a disaster before the Triassic that killed over 80 percent of life. The Dinosaurs would emerge after as the dominant life forms. A few small Synapsids survived however and would evolve into the first mammals. So not only is Chompasaurus more closely related to you and me than it is to Dinosaurs, but the history of life on earth has basically just been Mammals and Dinosaurs taking it in turns to make the other their bitch. In the Permian we had giant Synapsids like Chompasaurus running around, and tiny reptiles called Archosaurus, who were nothing more than snacks for the big Synapsids. Then a big natural disaster happened, and the giant Synapsids were killed off, leaving behind only the small ones who evolved into the first tiny mammals. The Archosaurs meanwhile evolved into Dinosaurs (and Crocodillians and Pterosaurs too.) For the next 150 million years they were the dominant life forms, and the Mammals were nothing more than snacks for the Dinosaurs. Then however another natural disaster killed off the big Dinosaurs, and the Mammals then grew to become the largest life forms. One tiny group of warm blooded, small Dinosaurs however, the Birds survived and now they are basically snacks for large mammals, cats, dogs, Killer Whales and obvs us humans too. Who knows if the tables will turn again, but basically for the past 250 million years it has been a case of swings and roundabouts.

Just let me comb through over 28 years of Power Rangers.... I used to watch Power Rangers a lot when I was younger. I remember there was one villain in it that reminded me of Alti from Xena. Both were so sexy.

I'm not a big fan of modern ultraman but this is one of the best fight in the shows history.
And a golden oldy from Ray Harryhausen
