Well it's good to see some original female heroes for a change. 

I will admit though whilst I never watched the original cartoon, I can't imagine there is much value in this. Granted the likes of Batman and Superman began as kiddie comics, but still the way its drawn, the style etc. Trying to do a serious series about this does sound like doing a hard and gritty version of Telly Tubbies LOL. 

I'll reserve judgement for it, but at times I do wonder how far this nostalgia boom will go.

The original Powerpuff Girls cartoon had remarkably unsubtle adult humour by today's standards. It even depicted a hermaphrodite as the devil.
