1. Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways (The best of the lot. Apart from the ending it's a faultless watch for me) 2. Utopia/Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords (On the whole it's a terrific story) 3. The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang (I prefer the first part far more, but overall it's a really good finale) 4. The Name of the Doctor (Enjoyed it at the time. Some nice references and a great villain) 5. World Enough & Time/The Doctor Falls (Pretty good apart from the misandry nonsense) 6. Army of Ghosts/Doomsday (Average first part but a dramatic and fun second) 7. Stolen Earth/Journey's End (First good episode but descends into farce in the second) 8. The Legend of Ruby Sunday/Empire of Death (The last episode sucked, but the first was a nice surprise at the time and I'm putting it this high on the strength of that) 9. Hell Bent (This is considered separate from the brilliant Heaven's Sent. Unfortunately it's a bit crap) 10. The Wedding of River Song (Zzzzzz) 11. Dark Water/Death in Heaven (No comment)

Was Heaven Sent really as great as all that? I mean compared to its dire sequel it was, but the strong location and premise was ruined by the Doctor behaving like a spoilt teenager “I’m SO alone!”, the lame resolution and the reappearance of Miss Smug Chops. All the usual flaws of the Moffat/Capaldi era…

1. Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways - My favourite Dalek story. Probably my favourite regeneration story barring The War Games. It's an excellent adventure. 2. Utopia/Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords - I love John Simm's Master, so all of this is a great time for me. Derek Jacobi's Master is an added bonus. 3. World Enough & Time/The Doctor Falls - This one has really grown on me. I wish Missy wasn't in it, but aside from that and maybe the overabundance of fan service-y lines in the latter episode, it's a blast. 4. The Stolen Earth/Journey's End - It's so over-the-top, but in a classic pulp fiction sort of way. Basically a modernised Dalek Invasion of Earth. It's good fun, and I love the ending where they tow the Earth home. A punch-in-the-air moment if ever there was one. 5. The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang - I have a lot of nostalgia for The Big Bang, as it's the first Dr Who episode I ever saw. Don't care about Pandorica Opens and Matt Smith's speechifying at all, although the cliffhanger is pretty unforgettable. 6. The Name of the Doctor - Well, Richard E. Grant is good. The rest of it is just fan service. Kinda forgivable because it was the 50th anniversary year, but still. That archive footage-laden climax is very silly. 7. Army of Ghosts/Doomsday - I don't really have strong feelings about this one. It's okay. Some funny moments. Surprisingly the only Dalek/Cybermen adventure to date. 8. The Wedding of River Song - Hahahaha dafuq was that 9. Hell Bent - It's so shit lmao. Why is the Sisterhood of Karn in it? 10. Dark Water/Death in Heaven - My least favourite Dr Who story ever.
Haven't seen Legend of Ruby Sunday/Empire of Death

Truth is I can't remember much about half of these. And I intend to not watch them until I can't remember them at all.😁 To be honest, the only one I can tolerate on a good day, is the Eccleston one, but even then I have to fast forward through the bits I can't tolerate. I can usually get through it in about 20 minutes. 😜

Well not going to comment until I reach The Name of the Doctor on my rewatch. I'm NOT rewatching the Capaldi era.
Out of the ones I've seen so far however, I'd say that overall the season 2 finale is the best, most tight story, and doesn't suffer from a terrible deux machina like the others, but that the first two parts of the series 3 finale are superior, with Utopia being one of the most imaginative, effective and thoughtful of all New Who episodes.

The series 5 one is the only proper good one. The series 10 one has a mostly great opener but falls back to the usual New Poo hysterics in the conclusion.

1. The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bad: Exciting, complex, there are still some things to process about it, Moffat at his best 2. Hell Bent- Yes, I actually enjoy this one. Perfect Gallifrey story that plays dice with expectation and isn't afraid to make the point The Doctor has every reason to use them to his own ends and bugger off afterwards 3. Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways: Probably the last 'proper' story that deals with regeneration as important, but more low-key. Also the Daleks' finest hour as an unrelenting force in Nu Who. 4. The Stolen Earth/Journey's End- Rollicking great fun, not the best Nu Who cliffhanger but the most significant in terms of modern ratings. This was when NuWho was truly unbeatable and appointment television for the masses. 5. Utopia/Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords- A trilogy that starts well, then means well, then by the end I don't know what it all means. 7. World Enough and Time/The Doctor Falls: Simm and Gomez are great, Capaldi has a fine speech, and it's again a more low-key regeneration story, or would be if it weren't for the indulgences of the closing minutes. 8. Dark Water/Death In Heaven: I remember feeling bloody miserable watching this, and that's not a good feeling to have with Doctor Who 9. The Wedding of River Song- I had fun watching this, but it was simply the third or so sign of Moffat's wavering interest in his own responsibilities as head writer and showrunner. He clearly didn't have many ideas left. 10. Legend of Ruby Sunday/The Empire of Death: First part is a great way to subvert expectation, second part is an absurd way to subvert expectation.

The Stolen Earth cliffhanger was absolutely massive at the time. I remember my family trying to find clues on the internet as to who the next guy was. That sort of interest and excitement over NuWho will never happen again.

The Weakest Link Floor Manager in Bad Wolf is the singer of the Red Dwarf theme.
Crazy stuff.

The Wedding of River Song is the most boring. Every RTD finale felt like event television, but this was a forgettable bag of nothing. We all know Moffat doesn't have the balls to kill the Doctor in his second series as showrunner so why bother even pretending for the whole series? Series 6 is absolute jizz.
