I respect what he's done for Doctor Who but by God these are awful. Why does Levine manage to find the most uncanny way to tell a story every time?

The Sylvester ones range from good to passable IMO. Always nice to get an active Doctor involved in these rather than unconvincing impressionists. The discount Toymaker actor is supremely bad but Sylv doesn't lose a step at all. I also think "Destiny of the Doctors" is a much better send-off for Seven than Big Finish's Last Day was. In another life, If the TV movie had come out in 2004/2005, I could easily see this as something BBC FOUR would have ran with as a 'primer'

I saw one of his versions of The Highlanders and I didn't think it was terrible. At least there's a genuine effort to recapture the look and feel of a 60s production unlike the new animations.
