The problem we have is the media is absolutely obsessed (more than it was in RTD's first run) with the idea of breaking glass ceilings, so casting Gatwa automatically adds a couple of stars to even the more critical TV reviews of this version of Nu Crud. Therefore they get more of a a free pass than they really should by now. In a similar vein I saw an article on the Beeb morning show today about the first 'blind' Barbie model, and they chose to interview a near-blind activist and Lucy Miller of RNIB, and everyone gushed about how 100% positive it was. It may sound cynical, but aren't there also questions to be asked about whether these companies are exploiting different demographics to get sales? It can't be that it's automatically 'wrong' to have a contrary point of view! Here's the article: www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/articles/cw9yvj8q08zo

Of course he will. In fact, there's a cafe just down the road from me that are looking for new people. Might be worth him sending in his CV. Personally I'm not sure he's qualified enough for that role Pepsi. There's a vacancy for cleaners in the public toilets near me which probably suits him better. He does know that he needs to leave the toilets when someone's in there, right?

I can imagine every subsequent shit being accompanied by exclamations of “fantastic” and “brilliant”.

Alternatively, he’d go on a ramble to any passer by before cleaning the toilets:
“There’s a problem with the cubicles of old in that they’re full of foul skidmarks which are evil. And I had problems with that- with associating public spaces with appalling smells and excretion- and trust me, there’s a very long tradition of this.”
