£55 is still a lot of money for only four stories regardless of how many versions there are. I'm obviously going to buy it, but I think they're taking the piss a bit. At least with Season 20 there were three more stories. Just wait until they release season 4 and charge the same even though most of the stories don't even f*cking exist. The things you can get away with when you have a load of brand-worshippers at your feet..

This is probably the best artwork so far. Everything looks really well put together, the colours pop without being too gaudy and neon-y, the background is dynamic and interesting, and the photo used is great. Some of the others are pretty janky, especially the Pertwee sets where they always manage to make him look a little bit retarded. Season 10 is the worst looking by far, with the dopey face, ropey splicing and the weird mirrored Omega.

Great news. Surprised by them all getting new FX and seems rather unnecessary too save maybe Silver Nemesis. Glad we're finally getting the extended version and the US making of on shiny discs too. October though? So still just 2 a year. We'll all be dead by the time they're finished. And why oh why does Russell The Degenerate have to muscle in on these sets? The only connection this asshat has to the McCoy era is being rejected as not being good enough to write for it. The DVD release of Nemesis was so naff. Couldn't be bothered to include the making of documentary and only had the delete scenes as a special feature. I'm glad we're finally getting that version on this set. It honestly adds a lot to the story.

Great trailer. On one level I'm kinda curious to see what they've done with Remembrance, but on the other hand I was always impressed by the original FX anyway. It was the first time we saw the skeletal extermination effect. So glad Classic Who got in with that one first, as well as the hovering Dalek. It will also be good to see the full Silver Nemesis on Blu. A story that has grown on me a lot over the years. Greatest Show isn't bad either. Almost up to S26 standard. Happiness Patrol is one I always used to struggle with, but I like its theme and subtext, and I appreciated it more the last time I watched it. Overall, it may not be part of my favourite era, but I've always loved Remembrance. It's the best story of the entire decade for me, and one of the best Dalek stories of all time. I'm quite excited by this release. And not just for Remembrance.
