Two of the most popular seasons on this forum- and almost certainly my two favourites. Which is best? If nothing else, this makes a change from choosing between “shits and farts” and “insurmountable hamminess”…  |

Very tough....
I feel like I should vote for S7 because it doesn't have any weak stories, whereas S13 has The Android Invasion, (ok not weak, but neither a classic) and Planet of Evil. Also, Jon is my favourite Doctor, and S7 as a whole pretty much unique. Plus Silurians is my 3rd favourite story of all time, and Spearhead is comfortably in my top 10.
But S13 has Pyramids, which is my 2nd favourite of all time, whilst Morbius and Seeds of Doom also sit comfortably in my Top 10.
Gah.... I'm gonna have to go with S7, if only because both Ambassadors and Inferno are way better than Android Invasion and Planet of Evil. It's just such a solid entire season.

Spearhead from Space is the perfect opener, then you have those three monstrous 7-part stories. It's the most "legitimate" Doctor Who has ever felt

I love the idea of season 7, and I *adore* Ambassadors of Death, but season 13 has so many stone cold classics.

Has to be 7. I've said this before, but by the end of Spearhead I was so won over by the style and the actors that I was no longer upset that the Season 6 team were gone.
