It lost its crown with that Sea Devils shite. No, sorry, you don't get to compare fiddled figures of up to a week later with those for a live broadcast that didn't even count those who watched it later in the evening then. All of this "Season" has been rated lower than Battlefield.

I understand the streaming argument, but what people don't realise is that iPlayer IS a streaming service, and its ratings are counted here. So it's still getting catastrophically low figures. How many people are watching on Disney+ realistically? Streaming is a shit situation because discoverability is in the toilet for programmes that aren't pushed to the top. At least on terrestrial everything had its airtime.

I am loving this. I love how the public have turned on RTD for the very same crap we've been complaining about since 2005. Knowing the ignorant masses have woken up, and RTDs rep is now in the gutter, it makes me almost want to fap with joy.

If we go by the lowest overnights it lost it as far back as Peter Capaldi's last season which was the first time it got a 2 million. Even with the fiddled viewers however it is still bombing.

I'm fine with people liking this era, what I can't stand is them coping about how popular it is. Someone on Reddit earlier was wondering why they weren't seeing merchandise in shops. Most of the comments were excuses like "oh so-and-so company are doing a stock rotation blah blah blah". I straight up tell them that this era has been crushingly unpopular with the general public since 2018 (arguably 2014) and that's why there's nothing in the shops, and of course get downvoted to shit and receive a good dose of the usual copium that these nonces are huffing. Here's a gem: The bubble these people live in . These people are so in denial they need therapy. I don't remember nearly this much coping during the Jodie era, maybe because it was actually 2-3x more popular than this shit.

"It was still really, really good despite being really, really shit!" "Doctor Who has ALWAYS been shit..!!!" *no thought given as to WHY one would WANT to be a fan of something shit or what that would SAY about you...*

Even the greatest McCoy defenders never coped with "you've got to add the repeat showings on UK Gold, and the DVD sales and the 2000 times I rewatched it on VHS then Battlefield got ten billion in the ratings. Changing times my friend".
