Not sure what the f*ck they were thinking of doing a novelization of Space Babies. What is there to add exactly? I would have preferred The Devil's Chord.

Adapting these episodes is such a dumb idea.
Target novelisations exist because physical media was rare back in the day, and also because the serial length of old Doctor Who justified it. I get that novels can expand on the wafer-thin plots in New Who, but there's another solution to that... bring back proper multi-parters. With 8 episodes a season, you could easily have two 2-parters, a three-parter and a one-off.

Space Babies was only 45 minutes. How are they going to make a 200 page book out of that? Maybe two words per page or something. Surprised it isn't a scratch and sniff book given some of the content. No guesses as to what it would smell like.
