Yeah, Neil put me off those. After what I went through on the Xena board today, Neil seems like the greatest guy in the universe to me now LOL. f*cking fandoms. I'm just going to refer to official fandoms as gathering of c*nts from now on, as that's what most official fandoms are to me. Doctor Who's gathering of c*nts meanwhile is still probably the overall worst, but yeah others even of older shows are pretty bad. Welcome to my world.

Sorry just to get back to it, only two fandoms I can tolerate are Buffy fans and Rick and Morty fans. Ironically Rick and Morty fans were the worst from what I heard a few years back, but I guess that humiliation must have humbled them. Buffy fans similarly I hear could be cultish back in the day, but I guess Joss' fall from grace humbled them too.
Everyone else though can f*ck off.

Join the Joel Schmacher Batman film fandom, Burrunjor. OK, there's only me but still. At least you wouldn't get any abuse.

I think the worst thing Moffat did to 1 was make him relentlessly grumpy and cantankerous. That really wasn't his character at all except in ... every single multi-Doctor story. It's practically tradition to mischaracterise One at this point xD Maybe someone will mischaracterise Gatwa's Doctor in the future and make him tolerable.

Just to be clear though I didn't get any abuse from the Xena one. I don't want to make it look like I am playing the victim. It was more just depressing to see even the fandom for an old show be so tribal and swallowed by culture wars bullshit. Then again I should hardly be surprised as classic who fans are the same.

I've rented out a dance hall to host our weekly Batman fan club. It will be on Tuesdays at 7pm-8:30pm. After that there's a Lynda with a Y worship session. Plase bring your own tissues for that one.

What was this tripe about something being buried since the era of the Third Doctor? That was a direct quote from RTD
Mind you, RTD says in the commentary for the finale that a LOT was cut from the script and the episode

I disagree. It would have been nice to see the Doctor appear in the finale. His absence this series has been quite bizarre. It's a bit like Taggart at this point. It's still called Doctor Who, but the main character is long gone.
