Well we all know that both Eastenders and ClassicWho have a shared universe thanks to "Dimensions In Time" but bar that one story doesn't it seem strange that the Doctor has never returned to Albert Square?
Why not? Did the Mitchell brothers threaten him away? Maybe Pat Butcher gave him a good slap for getting too amorous one drunken night in the Queen Vic? Perhaps Ricky's dog Wellard bit him on the bum?
Whatever the reason, do you think the Doctors subsequent lack of involvement in Eastenders to be a problem?

Definitely. It would be a lot more fun with him in it.

His lack of involvement in the Emmerdale plane crash was unnerving. Could've prevented Jamie from crashing his car.

Yes, I thought it was a bit mean of him to never go and visit his old mate Jamie once he became a farmer. A bit and off and out of character for the Doctor really. Bit similar to when he completely abandoned Leela to the tender mercies of the Japanese when she was taken prisoner during the invasion of Singapore in Tenko really. The rotten bastard. When she DID finally escape to Albert Square, he still didn't bother to visit her again bar "Dimensions In Time"

I do think that there should have been another way. Since the frontal assault and very clear threat offered by Pat Butcher in 'Dimensions in Time', and the blatantly obvious illustration of the fact that the denizens of Albert Square are homicidal degenerates who keep setting fire to each other, the Doctor has had opportunity after opportunity to utilise the Hexacromite in the Queen Vic. But does he do it...? No!!

Why didn't Tennant visit all the impending soap opera disasters and stop them whilst he was preparing to regenerate? God knows he visited just about everyone else...

Eldred clearly broke up with her and stayed on Gallifrey, but where was K9!? And then she turned up on Jersey and got killed in 'Bergerac' - where was the Doctor?

And then she turned up on Jersey and got killed in 'Bergerac' - where was the Doctor? She was evidently in Singapore when the Japanese invaded, how she got there though fokk only knows, Andred probably threw her in a time scoop when he'd had enough of her bossy savage ways or something. The Japanese probably used K9 as inspiration for all of the later trashy robot toys they were later going to mass produce. I think she must have faked her own death in Jersey with one of the DiMarcos (possibly a tax swindle) otherwise she wouldn't have been able to open up the greasy restaurant in Albert Square afterwards.
