Oh dear I see Glinner has well and truly put his foot in his mouth, calling RTD a sweaty groomer. What a f*cking idiot. We all know that there are some serious casting couch rumours about Russell and Ncuti being a twink of his (though even then it's not something you should ever state as fact in the public especially if you're in the industry without proof), but groomer implies children and that is certainly the context Glinner was using it in. Morally it's disgusting for Glinner to try and smear an innocent man as that, (he's now crossed into Mr Tardis territory) but from a practical point of view what a f*cking idiot! RTD could take him to the cleaners for slander.  Only posting this here because I mentioned Linehan among my bad celeb encounters and honestly I don't think he deserves a thread of his own. It's a shame for the other people who worked on Father Ted. Poor old Dermot Morgan's legacy is being trashed for a lot of people by this. Still again my fave sci fi author Edgar Rice Burroughs was a raging racist so I can't throw stones too much LOL. Again I love the fact that Mr Tardis tried to use that tactic on Glinner only for Glinner to then use it on him. Whilst nobody deserves to have that said about them if they aren't, given how quickly they throw it around against others like that fan and RTD, it is poetic justice in both cases. I will say though in the long run they are going to devalue these kinds of serious accusations the way they did calling someone a racist or a homophobe. Classic boy who cried wolf situation. Another reason Shilbee and Glinner are disgusting. |

Love this collage of Amy.  I think 2006 is my favourite. There's a certain cuteness to that one. 2011 is too sad to look at. That's the last picture ever taken of her alive. Less than a day after that she died. Sigh, Amy why couldn't you have stayed just a bit longer? How does someone that beautiful, that talented, that unique and creative become consumed with self loathing, whilst mediocre twats sail through life with enough confidence to consume a continent? You know me I have no love for Glinner and think he is a bit of a prick. I also still say it was wrong for him to call RTD a groomer. Indeed I still think RTD should sue him quite frankly. Still transing kids is utterly unacceptable. It's something that should never even be considered in my opinion. I mean if you're an adult obviously I have 0 problem with changing sex. A child however is simply too young to understand, also him trying to get Graham dropped by his agent is a bit of a low blow, though I don't know if that was before or after he called Tennant a groomer. Two women I'd like to add. Ruth Jones and Lourdes Faberes, both of whom I learned about again in relation to Steve Coogan LOL. Ruth Jones played his girlfriend in Saxondale, an underrated sitcom. Its a bit slower than Partridge, but is really funny when it gets going. I like Saxondale as a character. He's very sympathetic despite being an arse. His girlfriend though is my favourite character by far. She is so f*cking cute you just want to hug her. A real ducky type, which let's be honest is the only type of person who could put up with Saxondale haha.  Apparently this actress was in Gavin and Stacey. I've never watched it, and no offense to her, but I have 0 intention of watching it as I can't be arsed with James Corden. Lourdes meanwhile is insanely gorgeous. I don't know why she hasn't become a big star? She's sexy, has a brilliant voice, s versatile and is great at doing action scenes? She is a very successful character actress but she should have a big career.   Meanwhile I remember her in Doctor Terribles House of Horrible, an underrated spoof from Coogan on hammer horror films, Amicus films and classic who stories. Lourdes is in an episode that spoofs the Hammer Fu Manchu films and Talons of Weng Chang. It's my favourite episode with Coogan playing a Jason King expy and Mark Gatiss a Fu Manchu expy. Lourdes is the evil femme fatale, though it's not the biggest role for her, she's still seriously sexy. She gets to torture Steve Coogan in it at one point. Even though it's comical (she tweaks his nose with metal pliars LOL.) Still honestly the fact she ties him up is still kind of hot and sexy. Lourdes is also still a groupie of Coogan as she tweets about Alan Partridge a lot on social media. Steve Coogan has had not a bad time of it in films and tv when it comes to babes. For a guy best known for playing an ugly, pathetic, painfully uncool, out of touch loser his on screen girlfriends apart from Ruth Jones have included Elizabeth Shue, Naomie Harris and Lena Heady. Yeah    All ex on screen girlfriends of  LOL I mean obviously Coogan doesn't look bad when not playing Partridge, but still it's funny when watching him as Partridge to think these have been his leading ladies in past roles. I guess typecasting didn't come into effect. |

Lily Allen has spoken out about it. To be fair her explanation seems okay to me, though she is laying on the victim card a bit much.

This is the part of the podcast that the tabloids decided not to quote in their articles about me "dumping my puppy"
People have been furiously reacting to a deliberately distorted cobbling together of quotes designed to make people angry and as a result, I've received some really abhorrent messages including death threats, some of the most disgusting comments have been all over my social media channels, and i'm really not surprised because this is exactly what those articles are designed to do.
I'm ok but it has been a really tough few days that has impacted me and my family.
We rescued our puppy Mary from a shelter in NY and we loved her very much, BUT she developed pretty severe separation anxiety and would act out in all manner of ways. She couldn't be left alone for more than 10 mins, she had 3 long walks a day 2 by us and 1 with a local dog walker and several other dogs, we worked with the shelter that we rescued her from and they referred us to a behavioral specialist and a professional trainer, it was a volunteer from the shelter who would come and dog sit her when we were away, and after many months and much deliberation everyone was in agreement that our home wasn't the best fit for Mary.
The person that she was rehomed with was known to us and that rehoming happened within 24 hours of her being returned. We couldn't meet Mary's needs and her happiness and welfare were central to us making that decision, as difficult as it was.
I've had rescue dogs pretty consistently throughout my life since I was 4 years old, I'm pretty good at ascertaining a dogs needs, I have never been accused of mistreating an animal, and I've found this whole week very distressing.
Please stop acting on clickbait articles when you haven't done your due diligence, I know that people sending horrible messages hadn't listened to the podcast but had been reading the Mail Online and the follow up articles and videos that followed, I could tell by the language they were using exactly what their sources were.
It is distortion, and all you are doing by engaging with these stories is making more money for people who profit from sewing division and tearing us all apart. In the same way that misinformed people.

Again she has always had a tendency to put her foot in her mouth which is part of why we like her, as at least she's not a fake, but still in this instance whilst her explanation is fair enough and you do get arseholes who just want to form a hate mob no matter what, I think comparing her situation to race riots was a bit much. Lots of celebs often lay it on too thick with the I've got death threats so feel sorry for me. I don't doubt they have, and that's awful and should be dealt with, but people get death threats online all the time. There are lots of sad perverts out there. Unless it is serious it's just par the course and doesn't mean other criticism of you isn't valid.
I will say though PETA have been absolute arseheads. Whilst I'm not white knighting for Lily here, PETA have been such idiots sticking their noses in and sending her a robot dog and best of all engaging in bitch fights with her and swearing at her LMAO.
It looks like Alan Partridge is in control of their twitter page it's so unprofessional. Reminds me of when he tells Dave Clifton to f*ck off or tells the guy who pranked him "At least my brother isn't in prison."
PETA aren't the brightest though. They also spread a meme about T. rex's evolving into chickens. FFS how could anyone think that was even possible? T. rex DID evolve from the same ancestors as modern birds, and therefore shares some anatomical similarities with them, the same way we do with apes that we evolved from the same ancestors as. Still clearly their researchers didn't do their research, which also seems to be the case here with Lily.
