According to rumours online, Millie has left. She only filmed a tiny part of s2 and this is the new companion, an actress called Varada Sethu. She is absolutely f*cking gorgeous btw. I may even tune in for her. Easily one of the most beautiful if not the most beautiful since Freema for me.  |

No doubt she'll be another modern day companion with the usual series-long mystery until we find out that she's the most important person in the universe at the end. I'm not surprised Millie is going. None of these RTD era companions last very long. It's very wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am.

Connie Huck has regenerated? I used to like Connie Huck, but then she went with Charlie Brooker LOL. I mean he's not the worst. He would probably do a better DW than the Fitzroy Crowd as at least he does have some talent, and he likes Sci fi, but at times he really annoys me. He's so overrated, and a bit of a faux contrarian. Most of his opinions match the media, but because he is grumpy about it everybody thinks he is edgy. Look at his article about vampires? Obviously I'm biased, but to say that you can't get anything interesting out of vampires because he thinks Twilight is shit and for teen girls is for a horror/fantasy fan one of the stupidest statements I have ever seen! He also admitted he hadn't seen a second of Twilight, but it was trendy to hate on in the 2010s, so once again jump on the bandwagon. BTW I doubt he and others like Mr Tardis would trash Twilight today, given that its fandom was predominantly female and yes there was a misogynistic attitude of Twilight fans are stupid girls who don't know good fiction and want to wank off to it. Okay that may be true that they only like it for erotic reasons LOL, but so what? Us teenage guys have brainless fiction we like and as for fiction we like for pin ups? Again look at Xena, I mean unlike Twilight I think it was a good show, but oh dear god was it a wank fest LOL. Also it was hypocritical of Mr Tardis whose favourite Doctor is Eccelston to be so hard on Teilight, given he was the most Twilight Doctor of them all. To me Brooker is that classic thing that people fall for, where if a guy is an arrogant shit, everybody thinks he must be smart. Like Christopher Hitchens (who was the absolute worst example of that.) Mind you it doesn't always work as Mr Tardis tried to go for that and most just see him as a twat (although maybe it worked for certain gullible people, given some chump actually gave him money to fix his car!) |

(Maybe RTD is trying to win back my generation who he knows are his main fanbase with this in mind, by giving the girls someone they can relate too, and the guys someone they can crush on?)
Sorry if it came over that I was saying get rid of the current one she's ugly LOL. I wasn't saying that at all. I'm always very conscious about how horrible assholes can be to people about their looks online and do NOT want to come over like the people who bullied Katie Waissel, or like South Park to SJP.
