Wotcha Chums! Here we are at last! The final series! Gosh, what a journey it's been, my great pur pur pur pals! It's been FANTASTIC! Now then, you have THREE votes for three stories and remember my best buddies, it HAS to be the ones you consider to be the very WORST. I must admit, now that I've seen a few more episodes, I may have initially been a hasty in my judgments about Jodie - I quite like her now! The faces she pur pur pur pulls make me think she's going to lay an egg like a pur pur pur Platypus! Okay my finest forum friends I will leave you to have the EXCITING FUN of casting your votes! Your pur pur pur pal, Pur pur pur Platypus.

I hope you're right that it's the final series, the show needs to be pur-pur-pur put out of its (and our) misery.

I don't know if I can vote in this one either Mr P. I can't vote either! The rotten miserable Admin took away my voting rights after I laid an egg in his chair! I really liked that one The Timeless Children though - Wow! What a revelation! I was so excited my bill was all a quiver afterwards!

I haven't seen any of them but I voted for "Ascension Of The Cybermen/The Timeless Children" because the synopsis of it just sounds so incredibly and utterly dumb.
If Hartnell wasn't the very first Doctor then why did the Time Lords always refer to him as such and how did the TARDIS end up with it's Police Box exterior?
Dumb as hell.
It sounds like complete and utter self-loathing fanwank, but I wouldn't really expect anything less from Michael Grade sympathizer Chinballs.
It was why I tuned out at the end of Capaldi. I wasn't going to watch anything a Michael Grade sympathizing idiot was going to produce. Not after the way Grade completely butchered the Classic Series for no good damn reason other than his kids liked Neighbours and because a personal jealousy grudge against the lead actor.

Can You Hear Me, not just for a waste of the promise of the Eternals, but also for the Doctor's attitude to cancer concerns for one of her fam members.

This, in a nutshell. Chin balls killed the entire franchise with just one episode. It takes a lot for me to overreact, but this one episode caused me to put all my action figures, 28mm harlequin figures and model kits away in the loft, from sheer shame.

I'll never tire of hearing how Chinballs drove people away from the series. I bet he regrets what he said to Pip and Jane now LOL. Personally however and I know this is going to sound rich from me, but that is an overreaction LOL. I don't think that the work of genuinely talented and clever people like Terry Nation, Robert Holmes, Verity Lambert, David Whittaker, JNT, Barry Letts, Andrew Cartmel, Graham Williams, Terrance Dicks even Eric Saward should no longer be appreciated because of a talentless, parasitic hack like Chinballs. Also whilst The Timeless Children is the worst DW story of all time, I think it is important to see it as the culmination of several years worth of shit, NOT just the work of Chinballs. That cowardly afro ball back Steven Moffat as our good friend Bryan Braddok called him set everything in motion for this. Everything since the first Capaldi era was heading up to either this, or something as bad. 1/ The pandering to the shallow Rick from the Young Ones crowd who care more about their shallow political agenda than good story telling. 2/ The focus on creating stupid twists to blow up on twitter rather than in compelling stories that stand the test of time. 3/ The not only complete lack of respect for the past, but this stupid, stupid, stupid, STUPID mantra that "continuity is only for anoraks, in order to do good DW you have to change the past." etc All 3 of these things were pushed by Moffat for 3 years in Capaldi's time and ALL of them are behind the Timeless Children. Let's see changing it so that the first Doctor was a black girl and that the Doctor had a husband before becoming William Hartnell to make it more woke? Check. A stupid twist that makes no sense other than to be shocking like the Time Lords are dead (again) Hartnell wasn't first? Check. And finally a greater focus on rewriting the past than in adding anything new? Check, as now the Doctor has been given a third origin story within the last 5 f*cking years. All of this shit began with Death in Heaven and Pissy Missy that was also pandering to the Rick crowd, a stupid twist designed to grab headlines and a shameful rewriting and desecration of the shows past. Once they got away with doing that to the Master, nothing was safe and indeed the whole franchise and its history has been consumed. However now is the time to fight back. I was a lone voice for a while against Missy, because it was only the Master and the Master isn't the main villain. Now however we have pretty much everyone against this. This is the time to replace the stupid "IT'S ALL ABOUT CHANGE" mantra with something more positive.

I don't think that's the case, however it's undeniable that the Classic Series has been tainted and tarnished from the association with the NuPooh abortion. I too have banished my entire Who collection from the display shelves and into storage to concentrate on other childhood loves and obsessions which I can proudly show off instead. I now have my display shelves filled with a catch up of 2000AD material instead. Although I'll still maintain an interest in any Classic Who restoration, re-enactment or rediscovery, I'm afraid NuPooh has firmly killed any previous passion I had for the series. It's frankly an embarrassment now. A hidden shame which once had a glory era. I'm not exhibiting ancient franchise tat just for people to talk about the abortion it's developed into. In the bin it must go.

In the bin it must go. It is ironic that Who is far more of a joke now than it was in the 90s, 00s. Back then it was a joke among snobs in the media and wanker comedians who go along with what the media say. It was still fondly remembered and among sci fi and fantasy fans it was hugely respected, with the likes of Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson praising it. Now however it is a joke among pretty much everyone thanks to the Fitzroy Crowd, but the snobs in the media like it.

I still think it's an overreaction to chuck away the old stuff, and probably exactly what these cultural vandals want. I had a similar impulse back in 2017, but it passed. Since I haven't watched more than two minutes of Pisstaker, I haven't - and never will - see any of this Timeless Child malarkey, but I heard about it, and my only reaction was a kind of amused raised eyebrow at just how much more comically bad it's gotten. But it's New Who, not Doctor Who. The mainstream moron brigade may conflate the two but not in my house.

It's pretty archaic humour, to be honest. Full of "Monkey-posturing" and "Bending the Knee". That shit went down a storm back in the "Gay '90s" but it's looking rather tired now....
