Had a homemade mixed grill (one of the best I've cooked in a while along with the Christmas dinner) and a viewing of Withnail, Life of Brian and City of Death to celebrate at mine. Happy New Year folks. May your 2024 be less shit than the last three years!  |

Happy New Year! Hope it's better than the last f*cking one... I think we've said that many times in the past. 2023 was a mixed bag for me. I never hope for the year to be great, I just hope for it to be less shit than the previous one. |

The fireworks were a bit preachy I thought. At least we know who to blame for it. I mean, it's hard not to know since he had his name smeared over the London skyline at the beginning. I'd rather just have the display without any obnoxious voice overs or shitty party/rave music.
