New Year's Eve is probably the most underrated day of the year. Although I'm not going out for dinner like I did last year, I'm still planning on ordering a big pizza. I'll also be watching the Mr Bean New Year's episode as well as Blackadder Goes Back and Forth before switching to Jool's Holland (it's just background noise really though I'm looking forward to seeing Joss Stone) and then the fireworks. After that I'll just chill with a couple of drinks and have a laugh. New Year's Day is quite dreary on the other hand especially since I have to start preparing for an assignment the day after. Anyone got any plans?

Never really done much for NYE. NYD is a Xmas Day clone for the most part but all I ever do NYE is watch all the music vids I've accumulated (and made) over the previous year. Ya just know I live an action-packed thrill ride of an existence, don't you?  |

The inner city indie chains are cheaper, but you never know what might happen - one time the deliverer got the munchies and had a bite before it arrived! 🤣 |

I remember ordering a pizza from one of those places and I ended up eating cereal for dinner because it never arrived! I used to order from a grill place, but I'm now put off by some of the things I've read about them. Pizza Hut is certainly expensive, but at least you get quality food. |

I've never had it delivered before. |

Yeah, kind of like this:  I mean, it's a treat but £17 is bit much unless the pepperoni is covered in that sexual magnetism virus from Red Dwarf  EDIT: When I said six slices I mean that's the amount of slices that make up an individual pizza. I don't think you can just ask for two slices or something. EDIT 2: That's not my pizza, by the way. I hope whoever had it enjoyed it. |

Spent the whole week talking about pizza only to get a Chinese at the last minute. Definitely going to make this my last takeaway for a while.

It is The Hiver's mmmm-moral duty to have a Happy New Years Eve celebration, everyone! I shall hopefully be spending mine in the souped-up shed, which is now to function as a home-working area and bar.  |
